Normally, the FL would have the character development or change of heart but the exception to what you said is that the ML must wait until that happens. The ML is in the sideline waiting or persistently pursuing the FL until she accepts him. That further feeds delusion to our young girls of what love should be and also paints a bad picture for guys that they should not accept no for an answer.

That's exactly what it is. There are no super popular actors. So not many people are turning to watch. Both leads are starting to establish themselves in the kdrama world. But if you manage to watch to the end of the 1st episode you'll its a fun watch, especially if you're into romcom genre. The story seems fresh. Even though the storyline from the synopsis seems cliché, it gives bit of suspense that keeps you watching expecting to see how the story unfolds.

I didn't know that some of us are actually skipping scenes. Oddly enough Jewel and Tan are the only scenes I don't watch, LOL. It seems each of us have a specific preference. At least someone somewhere is watching the scenes I skip, it gives a perfect balance.

No, me too. I enjoy this type of show more than other ongoing shows. I guess those of us enjoying it are quiet while those not enjoying it are leaving comments in majority. So it seems not many are enjoying it.

I saw a comment somewhere saying that the ML and SFL will not have many scenes together because Kdramas are tailored to fit its female audience, who are the majority. So, they would rather have the FL with SML have many scenes. The female audience would prefer if the ML is committed/ only have eyes for the FL. That's how many dramas are produced. The female audience like it better when the FL has many options, which creates the second lead syndrome in some cases. But they would rather the ML have only eyes for the FL instead of having options.

Give it a try to ep. 8. You will eventually come to like it. If not, go watch FROM tv series. Its an American tv show. I know its weird to suggest it under Kdramas. But it was one show I watched within two days because of how interesting it was. Plus, I suggested because you said you like something complex. Between you and me, it is one of the best series I have ever watched. Thats rich coming from me, I have watched lots of shows. Try it up to ep. 3 then come and give feedback under this comment.

I love her too. Though many people will beat you for this comment. I don't know why but whenever she's paired with a SFL, people always prefer SFL than her. I still love her though.

The all time people's favorite where many people got second female lead syndrome, Doctor Stranger. People are used to second male lead syndrome but that drama introduced people to what second female lead syndrome feels like.
