Yes, Fujisawa does finally tell Sei. Kaori does open up to Hagiwara as well. Hagiwara already knew she had some issues with her dad but he didn't realize it was the cause of her intimacy issues to the degree it was. He assumed she was ok because she and her dad were very close.

I know they couldn't show everything but there was so much to those scenes it really explained Hagiwara's desperation for Sei on the office scene. It wasn't a simple hook up. it was like connecting with a soul mate because they couldn't stop thinking about each other.

Trigger warning......So, he attacks Sei. I don't know how they will depict it in the show. But Fujisawa SAs him and Sei is confused because he didn't want to do it but he kind of enjoyed it but was thinking of Hagiwara the entire time. it was a really messed up scene I skimmed through it because it made me dislike Fujisawa. And Sei moves out afterwards.

nope he's not asexual. he just feels guilty towards Sei and couldnt bring himself to get intimate with him. but next week...let's just say that changes

yep, in the novel, the scene where Sei gives Hagiwara money for the hotel room turned into them going at it again and Hagiwara calling the front desk to extend another night during one of their rounds. 🤭 Sei had to cover his mouth so they couldn't hear him through the phone and Hagiwara told them not to clean the room that they wouldn't be leaving for any reason. 😆

Both relationships end. They reconnect after they both move out of their current places and they decide to take it slow and see where things go. They establish that they have a strong sexual chemistry but they need to get to know each other so they don't hurt each other.

Yeah the scene left out a lot of key things from the novel. The reason they didn't kiss the first time is because the discussion about what they were doing actually happened BEFORE they had sex the first time.

In the novel, they established that this was a one time thing and that it would be more transactional and not a love connection. Sei didn't want to kiss or touch in an intimate way. That's why Hagiwara said, "I can't do this." He was saying, "I can't have sex like this I want to do it the way I normally do it." which meant he wanted to be intimate and touch and kiss his partner.

YES YES YES! I think the communication style of both characters is why they fall so hard for each other. They only say what is necessary. HK is more expressive with his emotions and NS is more logical. They don't get offended by their communication styles either. Like when HK said, "I can't tell if you're brave or a coward." and NS apologies and HK says, "It's okay. I like it." It's like a breath of fresh air because they can be themselves around each other.

They didn't show this in the episode, but in the novel even their conversation about who will "bottom" was straight forward. NS said, "So, I assume I'm on the bottom." and HK said, "If you would." and NS replied, "Okay." and that was it. 😆

He's SO gorgeous! I feel like the character Hagiwara couldn't have been played by anyone else. He's a great mix of masculine with soft features. When his hair is pulled back in the shower 🫦 He looks good as a salaryman and in casual clothing. I really think that's why Kaori's character gets way more hate than in the book because no one can understand how a sane person can NOT want have sex with this man. In the novel, she's just kind of an after thought, like "Oh he has a gf that doesn't sleep with him and she's kinda dense."
