Hagiwara got a hug, it was like a church hug from your favorite Sunday school teacher, but it was a hug LOL I'm being sarcastic, I agree with you 10000000%
Modern gay horror story with straight psychopaths leading very dark lives. (Psychopathy is a serious condition…
Fujisawa and Kiki aren't in an affair. The show is a part of a series of novels and Fujisawa gets a love interest in another storyline. Kiki is just a person with daddy issues who wants the security of a man being around but not the romance or sex. That's why Hagiwara says, "I'm not your pet." This will probably come out in next week's episode.

They all were in unfortunate circumstances. The only person I don't feel sorry for is Kaori. She basically told her friend she wasn't physically attracted to Hagiwara and laughed about it behind his back. In the novel she said she enjoys flirting with him and with other people but doesn't want to do anything physical. So she kind of brought this situation on herself. I definitely feel bad for Hagiwara. The poor man cried when Sei complimented him during sex. He was living in hell.
There are several points I've seen in the comments that I want to reiterate/combine. First, literally all of the…
I agree with you. If I were Hagiwara, when he found out Kaori was telling her friends that she didn't like having sex with him, I would have ended things right there. Which is KIND of what happens. That was the last straw for him. Even though they didn't have a formal conversation. Their relationship seemed to end that day anyway. It's like telling the world your partner is bad in bed or something. That's the ultimate betrayal.
I love the discussions in this comment section. "Life is messy and humans are messy." We don't all make good choices in life, why do fictional characters always have to do the right thing? It's easy to judge how ridiculous it is not to have a conversation with someone and end things, when you haven't been in that situation to understand all parties involved. We all have traumas and past experiences that shape how we choose to handle the "hard things" in life. For some people it's mental, for others its economics, and yet for others they want to cling on to hope of something that may never be. No human being is perfect, that's why life can be complicated.

It reads like them having sex was partially non-consensual and done more out of anger. Fujisawa was angry and basically forced himself on Sei and Sei gave in even though he didn't want to after sleeping with Hagiwara. The scene is kind of messy and hard to translate. But it was definitely done out of anger.
Apparently, Fujisawa felt guilty towards Sei's parents because before they died they asked him to look after Sei. They had just purchased a gift for Sei to congratulate him on his new job and they were looking forward to him one day getting married and having kids. They changed their route after stopping to talk to Fujisawa so he felt responsible for their death. He then felt guilty because he loved Sei and didn't want to take away what he thought would be the happiness his family wanted for him before they died.
So when Sei "cheated" on him, he felt like he missed his chance and Sei felt like he was an idiot because he could have just been his boyfriend and they would have been happy.
In my opinion, it's like Hagiwara said when he and Sei were at dinner, that's an impossible situation. And it's hard to say how anyone would react in Fujisawa's position.
Thank you so much. The novel's end seems to be disappointed. But I don't care because this drama is such a little…
I found the ending to be understandable. They are slowly building a relationship instead of rushing together because they had a connection. They even remarked that they are so sexually compatible they have to now work to continue getting to know each other. I got the impression that they may eventually become more but because they were both in such bad situations they are cautious about rushing into something else and hurting each other.
Ok, the suspense for next week was killing me so I went to Honto and purchased the novel in Japanese and then translated parts of it to understand what was going to happen.
SPOILERS AHEAD
1. After Kaori rejects Hagiwara: Hagiwara tells her he is leaving to clear his head and she doesn't stop him. She actually overhears him on the phone with Sei making plans to meet up. Which she reveals to Hagiwara after she checks his phone and finds out about his affair with Sei.
2. When Hagiwara meets up with Sei, he tells him immediately that he wants to have sex with him. Sei agrees and they basically agree to a FWB situation. However, after spending 2 days in a hotel together they both catch feelings but because of their messy situations they don't immediately talk about their feelings.
3. Hagiwara is a loving freak in bed. Sei was worried that Hagiwara wouldn't be able to perform because he'd never been with a man, but he was very gentle and caring to Sei, which made Sei realise he had feelings for Hagiwara. Initially, Sei tried to be robotic and make their affair transactional, but Hagiwara was warm and affectionate and that broke Sei's cold exterior. Sei even remarks how he was mistaken to question Hagiwara about sex. He recalled Hagiwara's comment about not seeing him have sex. Sei can't believe how good Hagiwara is in bed and how the "luxury of experiencing Hagiwara's body" is missed on "some people", namely Kaori. This statement almost made Hagiwara cry. They end up spending two days in the hotel because Hagiwara couldn't get enough of Sei and Sei was all too willing to comply. They barely ate outside of one free breakfast from the hotel.
4. After Hagiwara and Sei leave the hotel, Hagiwara returns to an empty apartment and Sei returns to an upset Fujisawa. Fujisawa basically SA's Sei and "gives him what he's been wanting" and then Sei is confused because he enjoyed it but missed Hagiwara. At the office the next day, Hagiwara see's a bruise on Sei's face and Sei doesn't tell him where it's from. He only says, "I guess making someone jealous will get a rise out of anyone." To which Hagiwara angrily asks if Sei slept with Fujisawa after they slept together. Sei doesn't deny it or clear anything up which makes Hagiwara confused as to why he's angry in the first place. Hagiwara then realizes he is in love with Sei, but he's afraid that if he tells Sei, he will run away.
5. When Kaori returns home, she checks Hagiwara's phone while he is in the shower and discovers he's had an affair with Sei and she leaves the house. They eventually talk and Kaori reveals that her father stopped having sex with her mom after she had her and he also had an affair. Hagiwara is aware of her daddy issues because he said he knew she craved the security of a man more than the romantic feelings of a man.
Kaori was willing to forgive Hagiwara if it was a woman but she didn't know what to do since it was a man. At that point, she was ready to break up so she told Hagiwara to just say whatever he had to say. Hagiwara then says, to his own surprise, "I'm in love with someone else. Let's break up." Kaori slaps him and walks away.
6. Some time goes by and both Hagiwara and Sei move out of their situationships. They later meet up and they still struggle with revealing their true feelings to each other, but they do continue to have sex. Hagiwara eventually reveals to Sei that he loves him to which Sei also admits to loving Hagiwara. Hagiwara seems more up front with his feelings than Sei during every interaction. Even when Hagiwara confronted Sei at their office after their initial affair, Sei was really cold to him and it was completely uncalled for.
7. The book ends with them trying to decide what their relationship is, because they both aren't sure what to make of their relationship. They enjoy being together and talking to one another but they seem to have trouble defining what they are to each other. The end also eludes to them beginning their email exchanges again.

I feel like Kaori is really a lesbian. Her pregnant friend was too excited to tell Kazauki that Kaori wasn't attracted to his masculine side. There is no way she thought she was being helpful. I think she is in love with Kaori and hates her husband. I haven't read the novel, someone please tell me what her deal was.
I'ma just put it here. i loved how their first thought after (SPOILERS DONT READ)Seeing the statue was to text…
Yes! and i love the montage of them emailing back and forth, the part where they lay on the couch in the same way. So cute. like texting with your crush in the early stages.
