So much this!! SH was no longer on the fence. I think the day before SH woke up from SW's spell. From the way SW handle the room change to how he acted at the bbq and the conversation SH overheard between JS and SW in the kitchen. SH was done.

I think in the end, SW really wanted JS from the beginning. But because JS didn't want him, he went for SH. And then things got messy and SW's snakeish side came out.

Even the conversation in the cafe between JS and SW, it felt like SW was still trying to flirt a bit, like he did in the kitchen the morning JS had the hair roller in his bangs. SW could not handle the fact that JS was never interested in him.

Because SW was really concerned with why JS considered him tiring on that first day. 😆 And when they sat at the kitchen table and JS told SW that he was only interested in SH, SW was in shock. You and I are in total agreement here. The conversation between SW & SH in the cafe was filled with SW casting subtle doubt on SH's relationship with JS. He even went so far as to say, "Ask JS if its ok for you to call me." Almost implying that JS would forbid SH from talking to him or to tell SH not to sneak behind Js's back, even though it's clear he probably wouldn't do that. SW was being weird and jealous with a smile.

Agreed! he should be clear instead of stringing YH along. It's cruel.

I'm also a Taurus and we definitely don't sugar coat anything. You will get this raw honest truth. And when we love, we love hard. I KNEW there was something familiar about JS's approach. I've pursued people in the same way. Direct, heart on sleeve and honest. It didn't always work, but when it did work it was so satisfying.

I'm SO glad I'm not the only one that saw that exchange between SH and SW in this way. The conversation just didn't sit right with me.

And yes, SW is SO attractive I'm sure he has always had his pick. Which kind of explains this new territory for him, losing to another man. Its funny because JS said he always dated the person he liked at the beginning of the show. It seems he and SW are very similar in that aspect. I'm sure we would have seen similar behavior from JS had SH not picked him as well. But minus the niceness. I think JS would have become withdrawn and distant.

Maybe 'rekindle' is the wrong word but there was some repetition from the convo they had the night or two before when they discussed ending their flirtation and he said to ask JS if it would be ok for SH to call him. But it seemed like SH declined that offer maybe there was something lost in translation.

Same in the US. The show would basically be an orgy on prime time tv. Instead of focusing on the emotional aspects of relationship building, which is what I really like about this show. The focus on dating and getting to know one another.

Yes, you're right! I think I was trying to express how SH was shaking the emotional hold. Kind of like how JS teased SH that he was out crying over another man. SW knows SH is sensitive and soft-hearted and when SW speaks "sincerely" it use to affect SH deeply. However, during their cafe interaction, you can see SH's facial expressions were different. It seemed SW's "sincerity" only affected him on the surface. SH returned to the house and boo'd up with JS immediately after. 😆

He knows, which kind of means he uses his "issues" as a weapon, IMHO. 😆 He told YH to his face that he was stringing him along for emotional support. Like, that's EXTRA foul. He basically called him an emotional support human that he has no feelings for with a straight face.

HJoon was 100% right when he called out MS for not being forthright with his feelings. And even AFTER that conversation in the cafe, AFTER MS cried, he STILL went back to the house and didn't change his behavior at all. He didn't pull HJoon aside for another talk to re-assure him, he just left his dangling in his feelings. I felt so bad for HJoon because even we the viewers can see the mixed signals he was getting from MS.

And the one thing both SH and YH have in common? They are both younger than SW. SW has perfected his player and charm skills over the years and can catch the cuties like flies 🤣. However, JS is older and he was a runaway, so he's "street smart" and seems to have a strong BS filter. 😆

I have Nineteen to Twenty in My List to watch. I'll probably start it after the trance I'm in from "His Man2" wears off. 🤣

I had to go back and rewatch the interactions between SW/JS/SH in the cafe again. Their love triangle fascinates me. Here are some of my observations:

JS/SW:
Their conversation was like a gentleman's duel. They were both kind and respectful to each other. You can see the stark difference in their communication style and personalities.

SW speaks in vague niceties, very careful to say the "right thing" and to appear supportive and "okay with everything and anything". But SW also makes snide comments that make it clear that he isn't ok. On the surface SW appears confident and secure, but he uses his charm and his smile to disarm and avoid conflict.

JS on the other hand, speaks his insecurities and his thoughts out loud, though not in a self-deprecating way. You can tell that he has the ability to create an uncomfortable vibe because he doesn't smile unless he means it and he doesn't compliment unless he means it.


SH/SW:
The conversation between them was interesting to me. It's almost like SH woke up from the SW spell. We watch SH turning off his feelings for SW, while SW tries to subtly rekindle those feelings. SW likes and craves attention, the way he strung YH along because he "needed his emotional support", was just wrong. SW is really struggling with the fact that he no longer has an emotional hold on SH.

Through this entire show SH proved that he's a mentally strong person and emotionally intelligent. He quickly sorted his feelings and went with the person who gave him assurance both through words and actions. From SW, all assurances were mostly verbal, but only when prompted or when it didn't interfere with his other prospects. From JS, he assured SH through his actions and his words.

Very interested interactions.

True. He did say that he didn't join MS's chat on purpose while they were at the cafe. I wrote this post before I got to the cafe scene. BUT at the cafe HJoon also said, "I couldn't join the chat if I wanted to because I already joined two other chats." And I'm not sure if it was editted out but HJoon never said whose chats he did join even though MS asked.

I think the blocker for HJoon and MS is that MS isn't emotionally expressive when under pressure. MS turns to his friends for guidance and advice and doesn't communicate openly to the person he likes. For example, he was asking SW and CW who he should pick instead of talking to HJoon and HJin and making the decision for himself. I think he was too overwhelmed. Which is totally understandable.

RIGHT! I'm assuming you meant JS is closer to SW's type because you would be correct! I saw SW's ex as well, freakin' gorgeous. SW is a cutie too. But remember SW WAS interested in JS at first until he became his rival.

I think JS and SW would've never work out because JS can see through SW's charm. JS makes SW VERY uncomfortable because he cannot be charmed by his smile and is not easily manipulated. Notice when SW smiles, the other person usually smiles. When he cries, they cry. But not with JS. JS just observes and that seems to get under SW's skin and unnerves him.

Whoever casted for this season did a fantastic job because the dynamics in this house are wild. I'm so fascinated by the differences in personalities and how they interact with each other. 7 days together and there are some strong love and friendship bonds forming. I'm not a big reality TV watcher but this show got me.

100% he's not a bad person at all. It just means in some situations, when he is under pressure or pressured, he might cave. And for some people that's not a deal breaker and for others, it is. That's the beauty of humanity right? We all have a shadow self we have to contend with. None of us are perfect.

I appreciate SW expressing that he is a people pleaser. He's self-aware and he owns it. But it also means that long term romantic relationships might be difficult. BUT I also think he learned something from this experience.

I honestly don't think SW is a villian. I think SW is two-faced but not in a malicious way. He is a self-proclaimed people pleaser. People pleasers are fickle and it's difficult to trust them in every situation. He means well, but he's unpredictable and charming. That's why it's easy to love and like him, but probably very difficult to sustain a long term relationship with him because his loyalty will always be in question.
