Exactly ! FLs dream is becoming bigger and bigger . And others slowly non existent . ML aka just there to help her .She wanted freedom and happy life now somehow restaurant came into picture . Fair enough . But Now FL is gonna show her strength again by literally messing her almost non existent marriage for the sake of her friend knowing very well how it will mess up ML plans :( Till now I was defending FL but after seeing preview I can’t even do that ! I am ok if she wants to leave for her own happiness or freedom but not for saving a person who went into a den on her own . She is prioritising her friend (and anybody and everybody other than ML) To be honest I wish ML just gives her divorce for pretension sake atleast than entertain her so much at this point !
I had defended ML too saying he is not weak but if he starts to entertain FL in her dangerous endeavour by doing whatever she says I will lose interest in his character too. BJT has said in interview that there is good character arc in later part of drama. I hope they don’t disappoint us .

Yep agree it was good initially and was such breath of fresh air but it’s becoming too much now and YZ has become side kick literally ! I like the whole women handling things premise but I need fine balance of ML and FL not overdose of FL doing good!

Agree. Although I don’t blame FL but with all the friendship + women empowerment scenes , romance is taking huge backseat. Every other couple has more scene than OP. ML FL seeetness I found in initial epis is lacking

It’s realistic to have doubts when you face problems . She did so much for banquet and she was not allowed to go. She doesn’t know when divorce can happen at this point. So it’s natural she would feel angry wronged and doubtful of her decision although she knows none of the two are to blame ! Her only weakness or you can say reason to stay here is Yin Zheng so when he asks her if she wants to go she will say no because she would want to believe him when he reassures her .
On episode 12, so far love all characters except FL, my secret wish which it not gonna happen is ML would end…
I really don’t get it why people can’t understand FL wanting to go home . She has been made a lowly concubine who has to even obey not just prince but also his future legal wife/wives . I mean come on people would you want to be in her place when the other choice to be with your loving family and be in a place where people respects you !! However nice ML be it doesn’t change the fact that she will be his concubine with no right whatsoever!! But she still did stay just because of ML believing in him. I mean she has been born and brought up in a family where men and women are equal sharing burdens and have a monogamy . Here she has nothing except MLs love that too he is also powerless most of the time . YY has nothing to lose so obviously she wouldn’t complain much. Well I was talking about Song Wu not FL. I am in support of FL. Seeking your own happiness is not selfish just because someone is nice to you. As I said in the above (first comment ) no one would want to be a lowly concubine in an oppressive country if another choice to be in your own country with a loving family ! I understand ML too why he would like Li Wei . She is the only one who truly acted like she cared him as a person. But FL had her own family since birth who loved pampered and cared so she wouldn’t be moved easily by his niceness . Although gradually she would so study can happen. I don’t get it why every other comment here is against FL wanting to go to her home .

Yep she did some nasty things early on so I never warmed up to her. I found her very irritating in the beginning and then just got to the extent that I could tolerate her!!

Even if your husband is nice to you if the culture is totally oppressing will you not wish to come back? Specially when even your loving parents are not allowed to your house or allowed to meet. Yep that’s what I mean in my comment above too. Action speaks louder and I am loving Prince Zheng . I do hope they continue his character arc the same and he gets for what he is due professionally by being a crown Prince and a good king eventually and personally by getting rid of his wife and making Li Wei his legal wife. Although I hate that it happened and it irks me that FL doesn’t have any issues with it anymore but I don’t think ML is weak just because he married . He had no choice at that point. I find it realistic considering palace environment. He is ambitious and has plans , sensitive and soft but everything subtle about him not pompous. Even I felt initially that he should be more assertive but I observed he does show by action what he thinks silently and not by words .For ex: When Li Wei was angry bcs he casually said about women sacrificing . He didn’t try to just cajole her . He came up with a plan and then apologised to her . I love him for this
