Me too specially the HR guy is somehow my fav among that gang. His expressions in certain scenes are so funny for example when he tells the Boss that ZY is a girl and needs her makeup kit during their team building outing !! The way he shows make up is so cute

May be this was discussed before in the comments but can somebody tell(with spoiler tag i suppose) what happens to Hou Ning in the novel? Does he join LX in his company because he seems to have good computer skills

I read lots of comments on how it felt like end of episode 27 LX and ZY moved on from past but i felt real closure was in epi 31 when she finally cried her heart out to LX on her regret of 3 years and fear of her losing him again!

The whole Li Xun's suffering started because he became more passionate about love and insulted someone in public so i dont think this drama gives any such message that "Women are more passionate about love than men" . Its just that their character is like that. ZY is more expressive with words and persistent and LX is more expressive with action than words and also little indecisive bcs he still has a burden on him. Also we should not forget LX had to depend on himself to earn and survive since childhood so he would bound to be more practical and passionate about work than ZY .

I would say it’s the case with advisor or a King. King has to listen to advisors and agree to best possible advice . Same with advisors it all depends so much on the King who might not be a wise person so I would say King has better chance to bring change so I would vouch for YZ to be a King

YZ came back injured clearly. She just asked how is his wounds !! She cared more for Hao than this definitely. So not sure why screen writer chose to involve anything but scenes between leads

Li Wei didn’t even come to receive him near the door let alone fight for him . Yesterday Kings eunuch/assistant showed more care to YZ than Li Wei for gods sake . I don’t know why script writer is so reluctant to show main couple !!

Lol I commented befor seeing the teaser actually. Yep seeing last episode I see more love and care between everyone but the actual couple so yes live between YY and LW is not out of place😀

Same same . I was defending FL till like 7-8 epis ago but now I am disappointed big time specially last episode . Like Kings assistant showed more care to YZ than Li Wei:(
Even I started because it was wet and romantic first 10 episodes or so . I was liking even the friendship and women centric concepts initially but that overpowered everything else

Although I am loving the story and enjoying it I am finding more chemistry between Qi and Shangguan than our ML and FL. Here ML is busy plotting and FL is busy with friends and restaurant . Like Shanguang you can see the worry and even went to see the prince and FL didnt even come outside when Prince came back after heavy night. It’s just so disconnected and rushed !!There are one or two brief scenes here and there that they are couple like side character :( I am really finding hard to connect to story with leads teh way I did initially :( sorry for long ranting about it

Agree 💯. He cares to what really matters . There is a big long list of things he has done for others listed in Twitter and below in the comments . He has flaws like he really needs to be humble to people he thinks is not up to his expectations or question him but considering what he went through, him not having patience to the world who didn’t care much when he was going through so much makes sense . Only thing he has to survive and can be proud of is his skills . He also has to earn since childhood with his skills only so he really has no choice but to be the best . So him not listening to others or being rude/curt about their work is sort of him knowing what works since childhood . ZY keeps telling him to be not rude since the beginning but she is the only one who has guts to do that and also understand him when he does that ! It’s really sad that some people just label him as toxic

It’s the reverse for me . It gives a sense of poignance watching their student years knowing what happened to their individual and combined dreams :)

Also want to add how he helped the graduate student who left for farming by building a website for him ! LX does s lot of things but only actions no words ! But his personality shines when he came to beg for his friend just when he lost his mother :(
His words are really hurtful sometimes when he is spewing facts because he doesn’t have patience to sugar coat things !

Same same ! I expected and got disappointed in so many scenes on that front !

Yeah ! But what I liked that scene is how they were before they met each other and how they were to a stranger or a friend
