At the end of the day large chunk of people watch for the story, for overall entertainment not for a particular actor I believe. I am one of them. I like both the leads but I would not consider myself a fan to watch whatever they work on. So quality matters for me at the end of the day. So whatever was their intention it hurt the drama for sure. I am still continuing to watch because I like this genre. And despite such weird editing there are aspects of the story which is nice to watch.

Now that you mentioned twitter I searched with the tag. Gosh those scenes would add so much to the story! Crazy that they decided to keep FL and that class monitor scene than such important scenes. I mean I would choose ML scene anyday with FL's mother than that whole 3 minute scene which would not be missed for sure.
