Prince Qi is the emperorβs brother who was supposed to ascend the throne but the emperor killed him. Xie Chun…
Yes. It was the current emperor who killed his own brother in Yueluo, hence causing the war in Yueluo. Not sure if Yan sisters are involved in saving or assassinating Prince Qi, since she raised his daughter.
Legit when they showed the playback of the things she did for WZ. Crossing the bridge to warn of ambush, defending WZ from the yueluo people, comforting WZ, etc. My heart is broken. I wish she never fell in love with WZ. If i was her shifu id only want her to lead a simple, carefree life and not experience all this pain of being used. Which of them can freely protect her to the ends of the earth and not be bound by other responsibilities?? No one. So in the end my poor JC is all alone πππππππ
Jiang ci volunteering for the dysentery camp and falling sick herself ππ i know the story revolves around Wei Zhao and his sufferings but our girl is also suffering too!!! Who is feeling sorry for her???? πππ
Guys honestly im kinda glad they only drop 1-2 eps daily. There is too much action/adrenaline in every episode and i love it so much!! I have to rewind some scenes coz i feel i missed something ahhh!!! And i keep telling myself to not watch for 1 week and wat h all at one go and i cant do it. I feel like we are speeding towards the end and i dont want it to end πππ
Yes, Park Min Young delivered her lines in Korean hence the out of sync lips.
Sometimes they need someone with a deep voice but some actors dont have that voice quality... but at the very least the lip read should sync with the dialogue. Also in historical dramas they often have green screens/cranes/fans which can be very noisy on set so i appreciate post production dubbing, even better if done by the OG actors themselves. Some young traffic actors copped a lot of flak for not memorising lines and so had to be dubbed in post prod and you can see their lines dont match up at all. I hope the new trend of actors using their own voice will continue on! Loved it in The Princess Royal, Go East

What?? Was that how korean actors used to act in cdramas... which is kinda horrible. An actor's diction, tone, and delivery of lines is half the performance! Thats why i still love shows that uses the actors own voice...
I find the dubbing not matching the lip syncing at all, especially for Park Min Young scenes. Was this how korean actors managed to act in cdramas? Would they speak in korean and get dubbed over?
Can we please appreciate Cui Liang again for helping Jiang Ci escape?? He is indeed a true gentleman and even he can see this is not the life Jiang Ci wants. He was so proud of her when she got those women to stand against the sexual abuser in court. He's the da ge we all need π i hope he gets his own love arc and happy ending π
Someone asked for the song title where the singer hums a sad tune whenever Jiang Ci thinks or talks about refugees. (Beginning of ep 17 when she's looking after A Yan)
I'd provided wrong info, the title is not Tiao Tiao but its the song "Ordinary" by Liu Yuning;
How romantic, how romantic!! Episode 14 healed my heart a bit from the pain I got from crying in episodes 8 &…
Im legit in a mess rn. I love this show so much so i have to wait for eps to drop. On top of that, there is 80% chance it'll be a sad ending. My heart is already broken in advance. Even the dragonfly that Cui Liang picked up said the ending wont be good. Is that a hint??? ππ
