Grandma said at WZ's funeral that Ah Le has gone traveling, and will only be back when he's able to protect Yue Luo.

Many people are so sad WZ died, asking why didn't he just run out of the explosion.. but he knew he was on a suicide mission anyway. Here's why:

1. He was already poisoned by Emperor Liang. There is no antidote. Death was imminent.

2. He had to die as WZ so the people of Yue Luo can 100% be free from blame of the Emperor's death.

3. The way he looked at JC on the swing and the wedding ceremony: he knew he wasnt coming back alive.

I was still bearing sliver of hope for my fave CP Cui Liang and Secpnd Miss Dpng. That was the last straw that broke my heart.

What a beautiful ahow with top notch actors, production, plot and music. Thank you to the production team of 流水迢迢！ ill always remember this show. 🥰🥰

My thoughts on the ending:

Omg yes!!! Those previews are SO misleading!!

Honestly some of the Cnetz are so blinded but i guess those leaving one-sided comments are just obsessed fans trying to get their voice heard. MDL has been kinda good like that, most comments have been quite balanced and consider the 立场 of each chatacter.

Those kinda characters are pathetic and only cause the show to be one-dimensional! I like how they wrote this show because i can empathise so much with JC and she is not just there to prop up the male characters and neither does she have a "love brain"& only goal is to be with WZ. Especially when PY was non stop bugging and trying to trap her, she never gave up trying to find her own freedom.

That makes so much sense, thank you!!! JC does have someone who will sacrifice everything for her 😭

After Yan was stabbed and dying as she saw JC coming into the hall, whydid she say she raised JC and killed Prince Qi??? Was she the hired assasin by Emperor Liang and raised JC out of guilt??? I dont get it!!?!

NEED HELP WITH BURNING QUESTION FOR EP33:

Many people are annoyed with the midunderstand between JC and WZ. But the way i see it, he promised JC nothing would happen to her shifu and even witnessed her getting killed, even if he didn't want her to die. He got duped by Rong Yudie but he also went into the scheme with them when he didn't fully trust RYD. So not that im blaming him but lets face it, he didn't kill Yan but had a very indirect part to play in it too. He was hell bent on finding out the truth about Prince Qi and so let Yan take the risk. JC will be inhumane if she wasnt the least bit angry at him. Human emotions are complex, and it's obvious JC is experiencing all sorts of grief now. 😔

Miss Dong is literally the best person we need but dont deserve 😭 what justice is there if she and Cui Liang can't be together 😭💔

Saw another theory that WZ and JC have a baby, somehow he goes away somewhere and returns 4 years later.

They really made his character soooo obsessed and dumb, like did he really think that by openly defying his tyrant mother that she would spare JC or her master???

Cui Liang and Miss Dong have to end up together or i really can not deal!!! Theyre such pure souls and so genuine and righteous in their own ways. Im shipping them so badly. 😭 Especially when Miss Dong said she would do her part to help Jiang Ci escape the damn wedding!!! Miss Dong and Cui Liang are the only ones untainted by selfish desires amongst all the other characters 😇😭
