I feel like this is an aspect that's easier to slip by some viewers - that she acts so much more casually w the…
Yes!!!! Bc many people say how can she act so casually around him.. but they forget that she has known him almost all her life... and he was cold on the outside but kind hearted towards her and always helped her β€οΈ
Ehh who else is gushing like a schoolgirl in those cute scenes ??? π this is coming from an auntie who isnt into sappy romance... but I'm eating this CP up!!!
Who else laughed out loud when she chopped his zither in half?? He was like a helpless man watching a drunk woman make a fool of herself π at the same time i could empathise with her though. Imagine using your own face (albeit in a fake male identity), working so hard and not getting the prize when she was the most deserving one. To her, he's an old acquaintance/school mate, she knows he has a kind heart and so she can let her guard down/be silly around him. Arghhh loving this duo so much. CP of the year i think!!!!
Guyyssss im on ep20 and loving the show. Landi has nailed the role with her acting!!! And i also like Princess Ning's character- so sassy, unrestrained and loving towards our Wan er. Are there any annoying love Triangles? I cant stand those... saw some spoiler on FB that someone was going after Yan Chi.. grr.
I was just getting over my trauma from Love of Nirvana and Allen Ren does it to me again on Demon Hunters Romance. Somehow the show's ending lines about Carefree River- "Break through the fog, find joy in bitterness, and find freedom in being care free." -- is very Zen and they say εθ§, which literally means See you again. The words at the closing scene also say something like "everything will grow with no end". From a Buddhism perspective, it's about going with the flow, dont be obsessed with any thing or person, it will happen when it's meant to be. So i think they will definitely find their way back to each other. The ending is bittersweet but also realistic. Many people saying why didnt Banxia just follow him... how can she do that to her parents knowing that in her "last live" they were separated for so many years.. Each person has their own responsibilities, if fate is to be, they will meet again no matter what.
He underestimated himself. A dedicated and versatile actor who can take on a variety of roles. He will become one of those veteran character actors for sure.
Is the evil Princess Royal and her daughter scheming to get Yu Qi married to the daughter? Im on ep 7 now and cant stand 3rd party/love triangle plots. Need to know if i should keep watching...
Already 3 eps in and crying. Preparing myself for upcoming trauma. Knowing what ZLS had gone through recently made it even more heartbreaking. She gives her all in every role she takes on.
I really enjoyed this so far. It kinda lagged a bit after ?15ish eps but picked up momentum again after ep20ish ...
-Tian Xiwei's role doesnt get much screen time but there us character growth. -Dylan brings alot of energy into the role! - i like that almost all the actors used their own voice and its great! Even if the accents are not uniform, it just feels more authentic - I laugh every time Xu Xinnian comes on screen, the actor should probably win the comedic actor of the show. His timing, subtle expressions and histrionics just makes me laugh effortlessly. I had to pause when he was busy trying to hang himself after being thrown out by prospectivr father in law and Miss Wang almost walked into the room while he was doing that π€£π€£ - all the characters are so funny and well written wjth their own quirks! Ms Nangong, Silver Gong Li (Xu Qi An's immediate boss)οΌ his colleagues, his uncle/auntie, the rivals/almoat sworn siblings, and of course Wei Gong, the despotic Emperor, timid Crown Prince etc!! - I personally enjoy the magic/fantasy elements of the show.
30 eps have flown by... only 10 left.. will be saf when its over.. its been a ride!!
