Xu Yan blames only herself for being played by Shen Haoming. She knows their marriage was built on a lie and so she chose to let him go, and herself go. My heart broke when she realised that she had given up precious time with her Grandmother, the only person who truly loved and cared for her since young, only to live a fake life with a man who is only using you. Shen Haoming is the worst person here IMO. Xu Yan lied and cheated because she genuinely loved him, but he lied about loving her to use her. In my book, his actions are wayyyy worse than hers. Apart from lying about her parents, everything she did was genuine. On the other hand, NOTHING he did for her was genuine. I'm really so mad at him and i want him to GROVEL if he wants to win her back. And im ok if she doesnt!!!
I have seen almost all her shows and this really showcased her ability as a character actress. The mico expressions, nuanced gestures, the cold smile are all a part of her superb story telling through her acting. I think this is a breakout role for her. It was filmed just before she had her breakdown, and she must be applauded for her superb performance.
I think he keeps getting 2ml roles to give us 2ml syndrome lol ... hopefully he will "explode" onto the scene soon. He has a great onscreen presence and personality!
Was wondering who is FL with Ren Jialun in the new costume drama. Its Jiao Liqiao!! She slayed in that role!! And reuniting with Di fei sheng (xiao shun yao). Can't wait to watch them again!!!
Honestly Cheng Yi playing Li Chenzhou and Xiao Qiushui is like seeing 2 completely different characters brought to life in their own ways. His interpretation and delivery of each character is flawless and you really get the separation of characters even if they have the same face. Despite the haters' comments, this show is worth watching 100% just with the fight scenes, Cheng Yi's talent, and few other notable performances for me were the actors who played Liu Suifeng, Zhao Shirong, Song Mingzhu, Crazy Yan, Tang Fang and Edward Zhang.
Story was slow π and directing/editing seems off until about ep12.. then it keeps picking up! The last 20+ episodes have been a wild ride and I'm here for every minute of it!!! This would have been a masterpiece if the story was better paced with better story telling in the first 10 episodes. But I'm so glad i stayed for it!!!

I think he'll be the next big thing. He has a very magnetic screen presence and solid acting foundation. Hopefully he has a good agency that can propel him forward.
