i like how the leads are both independent individuals whos focused on their own careers and are supporting each other. Makes it more realistic and relatable imo.

So, here's what I've been thinking lately: Even though the plot in that drama might not be the most original thing out there, it really hits the spot when it comes to showing what everyday life is all about:

It covers all the bases, from that intense mutual love between FYS and ZJ to those heart-wrenching one-sided crushes with characters like GRR and ZZZ. Plus, it's got those touching scenes of parental and grandparental love. And then there's characters like FSZ who struggles to show love/accept love. The story also touch about marriage and such
Money/Power: This drama gives us a good look at the moral dilemmas folks face as they go after success and money. You really see how the pursuit of power can change people, for better or worse.
Health: This show brings it front and center. It reminds us that even the toughest among us can face health problems. Whether it be from a disease or accident. It's a wake-up call about appreciating our well-being and the bonds we build when times get tough.
Family Problems: The drama really digs into family issues. It uncovers all the messy stuff in family relationships, from old grudges to the enduring love that holds families together. It makes you think about your own family dynamics and the secrets we all keep.

yeah, i think the show did a pretty good job at showing his motivations and why he did the things he did. But as someone with a lil sis, I can't imagine hiring someone to stalk my sis and then not feeling guilty the person I hired hurt her but I guess I really would have to be in his shoes to know haha

FYS getting hurt was caused by his actions. He hired a questionable guy to stalk FYS and then instructed him to stop FYS from returning. He wasn't clear on his order so the guy took it as "beat the sht out of him so he cant walk no more" lol. Consequently, although he didn't intend to harm FYS (at least not physically), the incident was connected to him. This is why he responded with a "maybe" rather than a straightforward "yes, it was me." when confronted
I'm surprised a lot of the comments on youku were like 'phew, i knew he wasn't a bad guy' when they saw him getting mad that the guy he hired caused his brother to almost become cripple again. IT's still his fault!
