yeah, there's no way this drama is an 8.2...rating needs to be higher for sure. I've seen a lot of dramas that pale in comparison compared to this drama and yet those gets higher rating..

I honestly feel like there are a lot of people who rated this drama low without even watching it (I saw many reddit and twitter comments about not watching it and automatically disliking it because of the FL), which is a shame because both the ML and FL are acting their part really well.

this is why i have such a soft spot for this drama. It went through so much just to get a chance to get broadcasted despite limited resources and promotions T_T

Can u guys really blame her? They were not official. He literally ghosted her without an explanation. She texted him so many times and called him so many times and he never replies or calls back. She was worried and thought something happened but his wannabe “fiance” picked up (which affirms that he is ‘ok’) and said it was late (implies that its ok for the fiance to be with him even though its ‘late’). Sure she could've flew to find him, but he probably wouldve pushed her away like hes doing now.

And its not like she only wanted to help him after he called out her name. She wanted to help him even before that and find out what happened but with no explanation again, he pushed her away. How could she have known that this happened BEFORE or AFTER he ghosted her? She even said she is willing to be by his side but all she wants is to know what happen because the thing she hates most is being in the dark, and he did just that. Broke her heart and hid things from her. Despite all that, she still came to look after him. When he called out her name in his dream, it affirms that he still cares about her.

I know we all have a bias lens when watching CY, but there is no way what ZJ did was wrong or anything she couldve done better. Im sure if she had Cheng Le number, she probably called him too but he didnt tell her anything because his boss said so

I think its great that they did that because it shows him opening up and accepting the food and culture later on

i actually love how even though its the same scene, the different music and some extra shots/angle made it felt so different. A different type of sadness T_T

I dont think the rest are going to be dreams haha. I just hope they don't cut any lovey dovey moments between them. After 3 years, we deserve all the kiss and romantic scenes of them together! They already cut a couple of their scenes in the meeting arc
