SY was the hidden bait, so no recording  while TT was a junior who had to grow a backbone when rescued by YC.  Nothing is worth the price of self-respect and self worth. BLL knows her own type of poor ppl. who through hard studying and scholarships had the chance to join  a big company like Lysen .A poor resume without letter of recommendations and no connections if they refused will see themselves back to their poor rural hometowns.A blackmailer always knows victim's weak spots. YC found it hard at times to defeat BLL as she don't understand BLL's weak spot which she helped foster when young through  lying about BLL parents being diplomats working abroad making BLL living on false vanity and hopeless fantasy and no appreciation of her hardworking mother. Lies that  hurt in the end.

Those ppl. are very emotional and impetuous doing things without giving second thoughts  just like BLL and her mother who did such an irresponsible act without consideration for her paralysed husband's future care and welfare. That's why this drama is well written  because there are such ppl.
 Another point is such ppl. not understanding things also like BLL's mother, who doesn't understand why BLL resented her never thought to question why; same with  those ppl. ,don't  bother to ask in comment sections. For instance, drama didn't name the condition that made her absorbed her twin but 1 knowledgeable commenter gave detail explanations of " chimera". Possibly why rating for this drama is low as many don't bother to understand, clarify or elicit views and quickily jump to conclusion to trigger happy giving low ratings

She has found out that her rich father was not her biological father as she was kidnapped and sold to a rich childless man, thru YC.That epi. in which she video call her rich "father" and he told her the truth ,that's why her hatred against YC upped a notch for some ppl. ,when their light at the end of tunnel is dimmed they know they have nothing, no hope or like BLL, dream of getting back to rich dad, so turned more heartless and vicious .This drama have many themes and one of them is poor parenting. Family secrets like in BLL and YC cases should had been handled when young in the most loving and tender way possible by parents who will love and always be there for them for if secrets leak out they will feel betrayed and lied to and trust is gone Trust is foundation for any relationship be it family , friendship or love.

Read SM has some health issues and the medication made her put on weight. Probably like me. seen her years back in "Oh My General" and noticed this change .She picked this good script as she's the family jinx so can dressed in dark and sombre dressing somewhat hiding her figure to give her the Miss Doom n Gloom vibe while the real Miss. Doom, BLL, is dressed in bright and trendy clothing as appearances that can be deceiving, ,hiding her ugly core.

I 'm sure it will be HE as drama has dropped clues with latest epi . of her father waking up from coma,proving she's not bad luck jinx.She'll be united with her family as one of the issues of this drama are families not supporting each other and putting the blame of others. Grandmother Bai is the the most obvious as she didn't help her grandson when he was in trouble and when he committed suicide she push all blame onto YC.

It's a cultural belief,  star-crossed, which will bring bad luck to family, something like bad  Feng Shui as incoming is not compatible .    If you saw another genre in cdrama where a child in a womb was prophesied to bring bad luck then after birth will be sent  far away from the palace as astrologers saw bad omen stars in  the sky-- "The Starry Love" . Or if you  saw the Justice Bao  drama series called   "The Civet Cat Exchanged for the Crown Prince" then you would understand the superstitious fear of demon curse jinx. Her  father  was afraid of his daughter as his mother died when she was born meaning his family star and her star was incompatible and superstitious belief she would one day "eat" him.   
 But the latest epi.which saw him wake up from his coma will change his mind as he comes back from the dead, for it  means she's not a jinx..

I don't think BLL has guardianship or legally a letter of authorization from YC's  mother to  control YC, more like she cleverly and maliciously manipulate YC  on her periodic provocation therapy with her one on one visit to her and made her emotionally unstable. YC's parents were so superstitious and fearful  of her as to them she absorbed and killed her twin in the womb and brought death to the father's mother on day of her birth,  something  like death jinx or devil spawn. Indirectly writer is showing what it's like living  with a lunatic as one never knows when the next phrase of madness may suddenly  occur.

Don't worry, he will lose his CEO seat as punishment for he is an example of nepotism.  Grandmother Bai got him last spot in overseas varsity so he kowtow  and let BJJ back. Consequences of nepo. to concede to arbitrary demands contrary to company principles. Already noted this drama has lots of social messages; among them why children are unfilial for they were not asked who they want to live with at divorce-BJJ or YC whose father sent her straight to mental hospital after her attack on her mother without asking her the reasons and getting therapy help and psy. medication  and only last resort to sent to an institution. When such children grew up they tended to abandon like BJJ or to send such parents to old folk homes . So if it's domestic violence it's another big social problem to address and he will get his punishment one way or another.

Don't read novels, but he will go down as he is corrupted and unscrupulous like BJJ. This is a full length drama not only about revenge after betrayal but also the corporate image of responsibility towards society which some cynics would call propaganda.

Knew he has not much principles for when he knew BJJ was siphoning company money into her pocket and indirectly pushing Li's adopted son to suicide. he was indifferent. BJJ outplayed her hand when she got Grandmother Lai to send her back as Jiang first priority is his seat of power and he knows BJJ is very ambitious and greedy.

After watching some  legal dramas, I have learned that justifiable  self- defense is very different from western type, for they don't want their citizens to bypass the police. 2ndly any death even in self defense is still a killing, taking of human life which they don't want their citizen to have that right only the state does.Still have to go to jail but leniency of shorter duration because it's really "justiable".  
The ending is SE, as knew the trio had true friendship and the couple really were true love.I put on hold when i knew they had killed the rapist and then cover up as him dead in that explosion.That's huge No, for as LM had said in last episode and XX confessed when everything was pointing to LM was the killer, everyone should take responsibility of own actions.She went to jail and lived alone in the woods as her daughter is taken care by detective Qin for as her dead husband had said if she knew that her biological father was a rapist and her mother killed him, daughter's life will not be happy.Sins of parents are felt by children. That's why many punishments they had  to kneel in the ancestral hall as can be seen in many cdramas for children were brought up to bring glory to family and fame  or shame will be passed down to descendants.Revenged theme drama is always to right the wrongs as it is passed down.Same goes for glory of ancestors as their descendants will be respected even if they don't go to battlefields or served as officials in court.

Re-watch epi 43, darker mode is for flashback - the part where commander gave hand grenade to Oshima, it's flash back. The last part where ML walked in streets of Tokyo is full color, meaning he came out alive and back in Tokyo. Bitter sweet ending as he can't go back and marry her as recalled his orders was to kill her as she knew too much about 301 spy organization which had infiltrated into Emperor Hirohito, inner aides .Files were burnt to protect who? Maybe was implying Emperor Hirohito, was given leeway by US which didn't force abdication onto him as drama is joint China-US team work.

Agree. So I hope they don't follow the kdrama version where everybody who saw that said he stayed. Clearly a marriage of ENDURACE for the child's sake but even that NO , she clearly doesn't RESPECT him.

Better he divorced her as felt like YJ loved GC more .This drama is like more young love in which 1 partner had moved on while the other still clinging and persisting.CR and Y, ,where CR still yearns for Y, the bar lady boss who ex wander off to his free life and YJ may have married JJQ bcos he has integrity and commitment as a family man whereas GC is as ambitious like her but also unscrupulous in climbing up. As his mother had noted she looked down at him for being stuck without promotion while YJ has been promoted to be a partner. YJ also felt neglected as he's also committed to his family and spent most of his time at his mother's home or with his buddies hence lacking in exciting life at home.

Anticipating killing 3 birds with 1 stone of blackmailing the Japanese to release the girls or else the men wouldn't go fishing, showdown at sea and escape to Macau .Meanwhile at Macau eliminating rats else it will be like the Shanghai scenario again.

I didn't watch the K-version. For me ,this drama is about 2 burnout souls understanding and relating as they are in stressful situations both in their home place and work place hence they may seem distant and cold to others as they can't tell their problems to those in the 2 places and have to bottled up their feelings and feeling so lost in life.
For ZYA, her friend, G JM is not really a constructive help in lightening her burden of grandmother for 1/2 her burden would have been lifted if social welfare give some allowance, day- care for the elderly or social welfare home.(know she was reluctance with that social worker but if he had somehow did some tech. savvy tricks for he was ex-scammer and grandmother's time limit is short) She also don't have many friends who can sound out problem solving solutions as it dangerous for grandmother who is mute and paralyzed to be alone unsupervised as main thing is she can't call for help.

You are right on them being cousins. But I much prefer karma making him taste own medicine of biting the hand that fed him like he did to his boss. when his daughter saw , his true colors of ingratitude manipulator twisting goodness for his own ends.

LJL may not get 2nd/3rd chance to make SB change /soften towards him as so many antis against them being together from her cousin Wen ,her sisters and grandmother who made her vow not to marry man who made use of Rongs for their own ends.
