-In the domestic violence case , a facade of a marriage, an illusion fostered to his love-sick lover and combination of lover and husband to trigger a common nail into an inferno.

You are right that many of us tend to compare as we have lives to live apart from watching dramas. Time constraint makes us prone to use our own criterias and standards as many of us are already multitasking and don't have too much leisure time.
I see your POV. For me,the reasonings came from visual clues dropped, acting and analysingML and situations.
-He's immature, impulsive.hot-headed,clever but not wise,and arrogantly thinking he's royal and bright enough to out-smart any body. From1st epi.saw him back to the capital from his supposed exile to kill an official who had killed his mentor.( Shen is his contrast. Audience scene with emperor saw him calmly and diplomatically stating facts on reasons he stepped out of line. He's mature and methodical with an analytical mind and legal prowess to counterattack any evidences and statements with aplomb.). ML fell in love at 1st sight with a woman he was investigating. (Compare AYTO with same premises but different hairstyles. Tight bun at top- self discipline and mature. Here its's pony-tai style - boyish and devil-may-care.- ZWY has given tips! 1 reason I respect and admire him is choosing scripts with connections). He gave her the benefit of the doubt and made his feelings top priority over duty. Typical of cheeky, royal brat! ZWY portrayed him so charmly convincingly!

Thanks. The YT link helped me to understand what you are getting at. The dramas you named , I have not watch, as not to my taste, except Blossom. Plot is very important to me because if it's not interesting ,I don't watch them even if they are popular.

Drama is not confusing and also as a non-novel reader,visually ,drama is dropping clues that said 1000 words.

-FL was the only 1 reborn. Clues from acting and hair-styles. From the flashback,FL has braids and ML has bangs with flowing hair which made both look youthful. Now, FL always has top bun and acting more mature,( like a noona romance), fusion of “old” soul with present soul. Contrast to Ml still youth with hair in short ponytail ,and ZWY acted more boyish and goofy, especially seen in the bedside scene with FL and 2ML.

-FL hazy recollection of NanWu which she can't recall of what role with the tattoo. In the past timeline, she was like an orphan pushed out of her homeland. But now, her 1st priority is to save her family.Tattoo is treason.

-Fate is like a river, ML met FL and Princess there.Events that were fated will happen but what can change is the end result just like ML predicted where to find brother based on flow rate and course. Next is father's turn.

I think he 's imprtant for so far 2 failed marriages have husbands who wore benign masks.

1st brother divorced but 2nd marriage was happier.
2nd sister was the happiest with a loving husband
3rd brother same as 1st, divorced but 2nd marriage was happier.
4th sister and 5th brothe - divorced .

Sorry to trouble you, and not about this drama.But as you know Chinese and I think have good knowledge of Chinese singers and songs,Have you watched “The Bond”? In epi. 11 @ 5.15 where the youngest sister played by Song Zuer as Qiao Simei went for an interview in an international hotel where she danced to a Chinese song which I like to learn. Need your help if possible ,to know the song title and the male singer. Thanks in advance.

Marriage is a legal contract joining 2 people. Like many contracts there are many hidden or unwritten terms and conditions

As a lawyer,QH failed to understand the full implications of violating the unwritten rule of going to the bridegroom's  home town for a wedding banquet. It's a once in a lifetime affair of the proud introduction and acknowledge of a new entry into the family. Its constituted a slap to the faces of husband, her in-laws, his relatives and friends.Henceforth she was seen in bad light as rude, disrespectful and badly brought up. 1st case of Teacher Mei have assumptions and replica of situations.(However , as I don't read Chinese ,so wouldn't know if they have done filming it or not) Drama had shown justice was always carried out. Those back-stabbers will have to face punishment one way or another.

For me, XS and HL are the contrast. Hl and QQ were seen by others as mediocre and wouldn't be a success.They have love interest who were smart and go-getters, which inspired them to better themselves.XS encouraged and supported HL. She became his debt collector with much needed funds.She persuaded ZL, who had recommended him to sell her shares to HL so that he can fight his uncles  forchairmanship.She rose to be a partner and wanted him to also riseup as chairman, hence his love for her grew daily.
In contrast,  QH, told her husband that if he stayed stagnant as a clerkshe was happy. She also discouraged him and his father to help with connections.,to rise up for promotions. She wanted  him to rise up through his own abilities.However when he did rise up, she took it as a matter of fact.There was no singing of praises, special celebrations or any rewards.Discouraging,disappointment and hurt his pride. It's like a mediocre student who suddenly topped  the class and nobody congratulated him on his hard work. Their relationship was stagnant and both don't know what's wrong.
