Well. ..To me there's denying he actually did physically hurt her even when his eyes already shown he likes for first few episodes for several times. And in real there are existent of guys who actually hurt women(including their woman too) physically. There are those who endure it. But the end result not so good. Those guys don't become XL in real life. So what I am saying is it's ok to be fine with such behaviour (physical hurt and also sort of controlling) in a drama because character is a demon. ..his responding is like this, like his other qualities like exploring the world..teaching u things. But in real life, the one who got with a man having such behaviour never do have a good domestic life. 100% in my surrounding. So i am saying, bad boys are fine in entertainment, but to serious about them in real. But thats according to my surrounding.

I also really have problematic with XL character quite a lot. He did assualted her several times. That's problematic because it reminds of domestic abuse. But in reality those who hurt women physically are never of the one sacrifice. So yep this is a fantasy. And there are people who actually enjoy hate turn love stuf, bad boy vibe. But as for this particular story, I don't think author had created him to be love interest of XY but rather a temptation type and the fear..his provoking the hell out of her, that she gets mature, some people loves this type of bicker and tension. I hope people are (edit: aren't) into abuser in real life. And his later falling with her and even sacrifices for her to alive and gets with another man she loves. And also his being general and responsibility. His arc is interesting. He is my least fav of 4 main characters although i adore him in the end. It's fun to watch his character in middle episodes. To me he's the most fictional one. I don't really have problematic with CX loving XY maybe because i was used to learning history on how royals got together. CX is also complex character. But my fav ml is still TSJ, at first for comfort only but later his arc in the story his role is something refreshing for me. Like other two he also is not a flawless one. I hope you later come to enjoy the story.❤️

about how she run away from jade mountains will be explained in Ep 14 and 15. She ran away because no one come to pick her up for years and because those who came to her gossip badly about her mother. So she decided to go find her mother on battle field but war was going on and there were those who want to harm her. She diguised herself as another person and even change her gender then she cant remember her original appearance so she lived in WXL body in QS town . And oh before that she was captured by a nine tail fox now only left 8 tails and sort of put her in cage and made her eat a lot of stuffs (her blood is medicine then). The fox also ripped of all her magical power. he was planning to eat her after he made her eat a lot of things. But she managed to escape and sort of kill him by cut out all his tails. I spoiled a lot ..😁 hope u continue watching....

I think in Drama CX is not really blood related to XY. XY loved him only a brother although CX have feelings for her. XY's conscious real love interest throughout drama is TSJ/YSQ. In original novel, they end up together. As for XL , there's temptation moments. But both XY and him reject romance for reasons. It's just depends on our ideal ml I guess. But I personally do not find him as good love interest in such circumstances and how he had became despite the fact that he will be quite sacrificing for XY later in the story. As much as i appreciate him as a character but not as romantic life partner.

Um ...this my own opinion only but i think what she is refering to "boring true love vs infatuation"maybe meaning the way YSQ or Jing showing his affection to WXL/XYwhich may seem boring to some people because he's just there taking care of her and go straight telling her his feelings. There's no play game, no hold tension, no inviting to bicker. He just go along with what XY like because he loves her. There are a lot of people who find it unchallenging and unpassionate which may be implied with word "boring". Even XY seems disappointed that he act no much fiery with her pouty face. In mature love, sometimes fiery passion not always need to be shown all time because it is within and it stays within longer. But YaoJing do have sweet moments though.

there are different kinds of love. But i think Both XL and Jing can be selfless when it comes to those they love. The way XL respect Gong Gong is also selfless and his love for XY could be also called selfless, he foresee of their unable to union, so he made it possible that XY is happy doing several thing including making her get with another good man she loves. Jing could be also called selfless in forgiving Hou, FFYY and CX for hurting him that much. But his love for XY and his doing everything to be with her could not be fully called "selfless". And it could be called selfish when he request her to wait for him 15 years when his family matter no easy to break off. BUT THAT IS THE EXACT REASON WHY I AM ON HIS SHIP!! The love of XL can be called sacrificing. But the love of Jing could be called giving everything..i mean to XY. I appreciate XL with all my heart. Nevertheless In a matter of romantic and domestic union, it needs mutual balance feeling from both sides. In which I love how Jing's craving for XY 's love and fight the best to be at her side. Of course, circumstances of XL and Jing were not the same. I appreciate XL. I cheer Jing to get what he want. And that apply to real life as well for me, doing something wonderful/helpig for somebody out of love is to be appreciated but when choosing romantic partner, we may go with the one having feeling balanced. The one we could rely on and also the one who want us. And how much he's acting on it.

I really love Deng Wei's Jing. And to think that they cut Jing/Deng Wei out from LYF is lame. I do understand TJC's XL popularity but they should not downgrade others in that way. I dont find anything weak in his performance. It's a bit sad to know Jing is least popular ML from LYF . He's my favorite from the story for various reasons. Very comforting character yet very flawed. It's refreshing character. The more I think the more I like him . Deng Wei just bring him to life in such a charming way. And it makes no sense to change the ending because it may lose essence of XL's endearingness too.
