Actually a movie which deals with some psychological aspects. The ML is a jerk who had no control over his mind…
The girl had long black hair and Lin Ai Hsuan had shorter hair and also brunette so it not her and since it was not in his shared apartment with Pai Chia Ci it was most likely the case that he was punished by getting sent back to Yuri.. He lost the ability to control his own destiny and be with the person he realized he loved. He realized it while seeing her at the car dealership but he had hurt her to much which we then are showed in the final flashbacks.. Like even though she had caught his betrayal and infidelity shetried to change, ate meat for him and gave him an out and he ran like a coward and pathetic loser.
We can confirm the ending then when see the flashback from when Pai Chia Ci took ML's hand and put it on her hip just like a minute before we see the final scene and then it happens again, ML is shown being happy as he think he's back with Pai Chia Ci because she did the same thing.. But we then see the hand looks slightly different, a bit older and when that hand then reaches for the stomach we realize it's Yuri and ML suddenly cries and gets sad because he knows he's stuck and cant go back to Pai Chia Ci.
So instead of a happy ending with his high school sweetheart or the person he actually loved he was sent back to worst option being stuck with a somewhat crazy person and someone just as fucked up as he was because he didn't deserve Pai Chia Chi in the end.
Both FL’s are amazing in the drama parts, like literally AMAZING. From that first scene where the are fighting with masks on at first then stops and just looks at each other with so much tenderness. Like it feels like the scene is 5 minutes but every second counts as they slowly removes the other ones mask and kiss.. Like it felt so realistic it was amazing.. All their interactions was the highlight of this Movie.
Then the main FL amazing display of raw emotions in the end, she had a really hard non cut scene for like 3 minutes raw that is amazing.
Came to this after watching Sex Doll and she was funny and quirky there but the stereotype of ”sexy girl” etc but here she displayed amazing range.. She deserves so many more leading and diverse roles she’s great with the emotional stuff.
I know a bit hyperbole but OMG a f-ing baby walking in a doctors gown, acting like a 3 year old child and she literally tries to actively kill patients all to stop ML from doing his job.
Her patient is literally dying and she's talking about throwing a party and then is angry when pulled away from surgery then when ML time after time after time does miraculous surgeries she wants to stop him out of pride..
Literally a doctor trying to kill patients to protect her pride..
Appears she was raped in high school, which ML never finds outr about the due to this she grows up where it looks…
Also after meeting up that last night and saying goodbye the ML starts crossing the street but halfway looks at the green man light and stops. It feels like a call back to everything and the ML’s journey always being insecure and always being half a foot in half a foot out of anything. Never daring to trust himself or others but now her knows he loves the FL he turns around starts running then credits roll and we hear him call her name she answers and he this time without hesitation starts saying like ”So..”.. Heavily implying he’s now both feet in and he’s not afraid any more he doesn’t wait for destiny or waiting before it’s to late but he ran back and is now all in.
So it’s 99% likely they ended up together this time with FL also had finally opened up which was her last step to also be ready to accept ML.
Like "My Girlfriend's Child" it's implying it's not the male leads child? Otherwise it would be "Our Child" if the story's told from the Male leads perspective..
Is the revelation that they are in an relationship but it turns out that's she's actually pregnant with someone else and he is put in a situation of "what's more important.. Do I love her enough to stay together either way and raise another persons child" or what is going on?
Wait I read the synopsis and the same ML did exactly the same drama ”You Complete Me” but with another FL just last year..
Like it sounds EXACTLY THE SAME. A younger brother is out for revenge on FL becase he thinks she is responsible for his older brothers death and also coincidentally it was his brother’s ex-girlfriend as well.
Like hello, originality please?
And the same ML taking the exact same role one year later like his agency please typecasted much.
I’m not one of those ”oh lets make anime adaptations 1 to 1 stylistically insanely over the top” guys but at least can he have styling of hair colors and hairstyles somewhere in the same ballpark?
Like instant opening and Ai looks generic.. Like insert random of the 48 idols from AKB48 and she’s center here.
No not saying Saito Asuka isn’t beautiful she is features wise and facial wise and all other things standout and really pretty but her styling is just one of the bunch. She doesn’t pop out of the screen like where is Ai’s the PurpleishRedtintish mesmerizing hair with matching eyes… Sure the eyes is instant over styleation and over the top/unnatural so I of course accept that they skip it but the hair!?
Aqua and Ruby is more carrot then blonde and godamnit Kana brunette or at best hazelnut colored not red hair..
And one of my favorite characters Akane played by one of my favorite young japanese actresses Mizuki Kayashima is now dark brown or even black in certain lights as well and not dark/blueish hair.
Like come on at least stay true to hair colors, these are not even weird hair colors especially in idol or celebritiesin any of the east asian cultures.
This is mega lazy, I can accept everything else they feel the need to change but can we at least get their signature look in the same universe so we can instantly identify each of them and relate to our favorites from the anime.
Make no mistake Su An is the main protagonist/lead here, it’s her journey that’s focused on and in the end Seol was merely a tool or ”spiritual guide” for Su An to come to self realization, self love and acceptance of herself.
Present time Su An had never really accepted herself and was living a lie throughout her whole life while never loving herself and being in reality numb to life. She had lost something inside of her that day when she couldn’t accept Seol in high school and her life after that in actuality had taken a wrong turn. Sure on the surface it seemed the opposite because she had now become famous and ”pretty” and ”desirable” but that was never really what she wanted in the end, what she wanted was to be loved and dare to love Seol.
Present time Seol’s life in contrast took a dark and depressing direction after the rejection and she went from full of life, ”successful”, ”pretty” to depression, self doubt and just wanting to disappear. On the surface the girl that had it all and wanted by everyone, but in reality she just wanted Su An’s love and the rejection destroyed her.
Seol didn’t want to live anymore as her life had just tumbled into darkness and she had become just an empty shell left after the heartbreak. In reality she had already decided and gone through with just disappearing/taking her own life before we actually see her disappear in the Movie. She was already gone and the version Su An saw was just a projection..
A projection/spirit that then guided Su An towards her own salvation. What Seol’s spirit finally said to Su An in the shed was the most impactful and important thing in this movie. Su An was saying that she felt so bad and her heart ached whenever she thought of Seol or her life and Seol just answered, ”That’s self projection, the person you really think of and feel sorry for and your heart aches for is yourself.”.. Su An suddenly realizing the core of her depression is never ever having taking ownership of her own life and never had faced her own demons. Instead looking to heal everyone elses ”wounds” that she subconsciously felt herself.
With this revelation she realized to late and with hindsight the harsh truth she had tried to hide from every day since that ”sliding doors” moment of Seol’s confession. The fact that she had lied to herself and she loved Seol more than anything. She also painfully realized to late that fame and fortune was never what she really wanted, reaching that goal was her big lie to and justification to not having taken Seol’s hand back then.
As in reality reaching fame and fortune was in reality because she wanted to be someone worthy to be beside Seol as she always had felt small beside her in high school, constantly in disbelief why someone like Seol wanted to be with someone like her... But she strived for the wrong thing because for Seol, she had always accepted Su An as she was, she loved Su An, she wanted to be with Su An for who she was not trying to be.
Seol literally gave us the honest truth and was upfront and made it clear within the first 10 minutes, see indirectly confessed her love and admiration and told Su An had her own charm and shine but, unfortunately Su An was to boxed in to her own self doubt and also never trusting Seol enough to trust her own feelings, in the end only realizing it when it was to late.
That’s what broke Seol in the end, it was not the outright rejection but feeling she knew Su An loved her but didn’t trust or loved her enough to accept her. Knowing she will never be able to love anyone else, not being able to move on, the heartbreak knowing the one you love loves you but you can’t be with them because they can’t accept it.
Honestly I don’t know if I could ever move on myself in such a situation.. When the barrier is not that you’re in unrequited love or one sided but you know you love each other and are soulmates but can’t be together.
why mrs. Nakamachi wants to see Saeko every year?. And why she needs Saeko for helping the apple?. I do not understand…
@seeyoucme
Nakamachi really loved Naruse more than anyone in the end to the point that she had already accepted what she felt was his dying wish to possibly be with Saeko.
Also Nakamachi realized Naruse had become like two different people and Saeko also loved Naruse and the other version of "Naruse" the one that was outgoing and more like Yusuke and the personality Nakamchi had a hard time to accept.
Since she fell in love with a more reserved and kind and innocent version and Saeko at first fell in love with the outgoing, adventures version that reminded her of Yusuke.
But in the end Nakamachi felt a bond with Saeko because they both genuinely loved Naruse whichever version he became first as a subtstitute to Yusuke but in the end she also loved Naruse.
Nakamchi really was willing to give him up but in the end Naruse chose to come back home and chose Nakamachi before dying. So in the end Nakamachi felt that strong bond with Saeko and she is like the last living memory of Naruse so just as Saeko had used Naruse as a connection to Yusuke, Nakamachi now uses Saeko as a connection to Naruse.
TLDR In a crazy weird way Nakamchi felt a strong bond with Saeko and even love for her(not romantic) and wants her in her life as a connection to the man she loved more than life. Saeko also obviously wants to keep that connection to Naruse and she also felt strong warm feelings towards Nakamachi who was just like her having lost her loved one.
Together they began a journey of healing and support.
I don't think Ju Ryun is actually her daughter. Her thoughts suggest otherwise. She only thinks that Ju Ryun isn't…
I can't believe how mean Jeong In towards Ju Ryun I mean Ju Ryun is constantly protecting Jeong In especially after she was beaten by her father.. She's constantly running defense and being like be best daughter ever and Jeong In doesn't think Ju Ryun is good enough for SJH.. Trying to break them up and mistreats Ju Ryun... As if Ju Ryun would ever do anything bad towards SJH... I honestly hate Jeong In..
What was the last scene supposed to mean? Why did Xi Shi just walk out to an empty field while some soldiers was digging a grave? What’s that supposed to represent? She took her own life and wanted to be buried in an unmarked grave or what?
I know Chinese censorship won’t allow showing like actual skinship of GL and BL but this really feels like one..…
Haoyu and Canhe just feels like filler extras or some distractions most of the time and the thing that’s interesting is Enzhao and Xiaoai’s relationship, the other two I don’t get any sense of chemistry.
I know Chinese censorship won’t allow showing like actual skinship of GL and BL but this really feels like one..
But there’s tons of examples where they can circumvent censorship’s though.. Basically it’s GL in every sense emotionally they just don’t show the actual kissing etc..
Just like for example Couple of Mirrors it’s a drama based on a actual GL manhua and it’s obvious that they are in love and are in a relationship in the end even though they can’t say it or kiss.. But literally they move in together and raise a baby together etc…
Just like in Couple of Mirrors cdrama depiction they have to throw some red herring male leads as ”love interests” but it feels clear to me after at least 18 episodes of this that if censorship wasn’t a thing this most likely would have been a GL.
Tons of these moments where the leads just look and admire each other, there’s been like 10-15 of these..
Is this GL? At least as much GL that’s possible due to Chinese censorship.. I’ve just watched 1 episode but the way the two FL’s look at each other and interact is like straight dreamy at least and great chemistry..
We can confirm the ending then when see the flashback from when Pai Chia Ci took ML's hand and put it on her hip just like a minute before we see the final scene and then it happens again, ML is shown being happy as he think he's back with Pai Chia Ci because she did the same thing.. Literally a doctor trying to kill patients to protect her pride..
A absolute JOKE of a human being.
So it’s 99% likely they ended up together this time with FL also had finally opened up which was her last step to also be ready to accept ML.

This is not the ”happy ending” kinda drama, everyone is to fucked up and done and been through to much to ever have any ”healthy” resolution together.
Now it gets a 5/10 because of forced ending…
