My Girlfriend is the Man Is not a BL, but is there slightly and bromance between the two male leads? What would you rate it out of 10 because Iām thinking starting it?
Anyone know if weāll be getting a photo book, DVD box set, BTS merch, etc.? I got one for Addicted years ago, so fingers crossed thereās an official one this time too, especially considering how successful this series is.
KinnPorsche has over 173,000 comments.Bad Buddy has over 55,000.The biggest hype right now is Immortality, a Chinese…
I get what youāre saying, but I actually checked a few hundred BLs to compare comment counts.
If your logic were true, older series should have way more comments. Yet SOTUS has been around for nearly 10 years and sits at just 1,371 comments. Addicted, one of the biggest BLs a decade ago, only has 2,345.
Meanwhile, KinnPorsche blew past 100,000 comments in its first month of airring. Clearly, itās not about how long a show has been out, itās about popularity and how much the audience is invested.

I see where youāre coming from, but I was curious so I checked a few hundred BLs to see how many comments they had.
By your logic, the longer a series has been aired, the more comments it should have.
But thatās not always the case. SOTUS has been around for almost 10 years and has only 1,371 comments.
Addicted came out a decade ago, was one of the biggest BLs back then, yet it has only 2,345 comments.
KinnPorsche had already surpassed 100,000 comments during its very first month of airing. So no, itās not about how many years itās been out, itās about how popular the show is and how engaged the audience feels.
Wow, thatās almost 4,000 words :) probably one of the longest reviews Iāve ever read. Iām honoured to be…
Wow, I honestly didnāt even realise there was a word limit. Just like you, I find so much joy in pouring my thoughts into words. Writing is more than just an outlet, itās a way to capture emotions, moments, and pieces of ourselves that we can return to years later. One day, you can look back on these words and not only remember the series or the scene, but also exactly how you felt in that moment, the excitement, the heartbreak, the laughter. Thatās the magic of writing. It keeps memories alive in a way nothing else can.

If you are on PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) tablets, then you do not necessarily need condoms as this is 99.9% effective against HIV. I agree with you on the importance of lube, but at the end of the day, this is not meant to be porn. I absolutely love MonPakās NC scenes in Two Worlds, Mission to the Moon, and now here. They feel so natural together, with a chemistry that makes every moment believable and intimate.
I get where youāre coming from about the fear of bans, but I really have to disagree here.Revenged Love is loved…
Exactly, I feel the same way. I would rather take the risk than have no show at all. Worst case scenario, they can do what they did for Love in the Big City and release all eight episodes at once, or follow Revenged Loveās approach by fast tracking the remaining six episodes if thereās even a hint of it being pulled. At least this way, fans still get to experience the full story instead of being left hanging. And your comment about challenging the Chinese government to lift the ban absolutely cracked me up. Unless the next generation of government turns out to be GAY š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£, then maybe, just maybe, we might have a shot at seeing it happen. Until then, Iām not holding my breath.

I completely agree with you. China has 1.4 billion people, so if the government ever lifted the BL ban, the demand and excitement would be off the charts. I still remember when the Korean BL Love in the Big City was released and some South Korean citizens protested and pushed for a ban, which led the producers to release all eight episodes at once to avoid any risk of it being pulled mid run. Realistically, I do not think we will live long enough to see the BL ban lifted in China, but until then, all we can do is hope and keep supporting the shows they do release internationally.

Wow, thatās almost 4,000 words :) probably one of the longest reviews Iāve ever read. Iām honoured to be the first to give you a thumbs-up and mark it as helpful.
As much as I loved the series, I think China should stop making BL altogether until the ban is lifted. The whole…
I get where youāre coming from about the fear of bans, but I really have to disagree here. Revenged Love is loved by millions worldwide, and it is not airing in China, so thereās no realistic way itās going to be banned. If we followed your logic, then we would also have to ābanā the current ABO Desire that is airing right now, as well as the upcoming Kill To Love, which is set to be Chinaās first uncensored historical martial arts BL. That would mean robbing audiences of some of the most beautifully produced BLs in existence just because of a āwhat ifā scenario.
When it comes to potential, Thailand š¹š, South Korea š°š·, Taiwan š¹š¼, and Japan šÆšµ simply cannot match what China consistently delivers in terms of cinematography, acting, storytelling, and chemistry. And when we talk about historical costume dramas, horse riding sequences, and martial arts fight scenes, China operates on another level entirely. The scale, elegance, precision, and sheer intensity are unmatched.
Even The Untamed, which was heavily censored, still pulled in billions of views and brought in millions to Chinaās economy. Imagine the cultural and economic impact of a high-quality, uncensored Chinese BL with sweeping period costumes, breathtaking horseback scenes, and masterfully choreographed martial arts.
Thatās why Iām so excited for Kill To Love. Itās not just another BL, itās a massive step forward for the genre, and I canāt wait to see how itās brought to life. Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Iwesx2aIas
We should not be talking about banning BL in China until the law changes, instead, more creators should follow in Revenged Loveās footsteps and release their work internationally, where it can be appreciated without restrictions. This is how the genre will truly grow.
Thank you, your comments mean a lot to me. I know Iām about five years late, so not many people will get to see my review, but I still wanted to share it from the heart.
Just watched episode 1 and what a great start. Rearrange has a band that can actually sing, and the best part is there is no over-the-top comedy or cringe moments. It is a high school drama but written with such maturity. I love how they show the younger Win and Nut, then 27 years later we see the older Win who regrets never confessing his love to Nut earlier. It is another time travel story and I am enjoying every minute of it. It makes you think, what would you do if you had the chance to go back 27 years to age 17? The cast, acting, and plot are all excellent so far. I especially appreciate the attention to detail in the āback in timeā scenes, from the old cars to the heritage houses. I am really looking forward to the next 9 episodes.
This is hands down the best high school drama I have ever seen. The fighting scenes are some of the most intense and well-choreographed I have ever watched in a school setting. The acting is strong across the board, the plot is engaging, and the cast is absolutely stunning. There is not a single boring episode from start to finish.
Hwang Min Hyun completely stole the show with his talent and charisma. I am already counting down the days for Season 2 because this feels like the beginning of something truly special.
This drama is a masterpiece and an absolute must-watch.
why look up revenged love and comment if you don't like it
You called @SarahJean30 a dummy, which is both disrespectful and uncalled for. Disagreeing with someoneās opinion is fine, but insulting them crosses the line. For example, if someone says they didnāt like a certain scene or character, the respectful way to respond is to explain why you disagree, not to resort to name-calling. A healthy discussion should focus on points and evidence, not personal attacks. Otherwise it shuts down conversation and makes the space hostile for everyone.
