I think it was a much slower process for her. By time she comes home from the temple to her leaving for the Ye family, is like 6 months. I think for her, the arc with fixing her wrist is when she first starts to open up to him and maybe let go a bit and starts to develop feelings. When they work together to save the Ye family, she lets go a little more and finally starts fully trusting him....but its when he helps her save her father that she finally accepts her feelings and fully trusts him with her life and secrets. But for the duke, according to the actor, it was love at first sight when he saw her from a far. That was why, from their first meeting, he was willing to help her, but he needed to verify that she really wasn't guilty of the crime she was accused to commiting...though I don't believe he ever actually believed that rumor.....still: Trust, but verify.
