My experience with C-dramas tells me this will definitely happen, and the ML will end up making a joke of himself by getting jealous, while the FL teases him because of it 😅🙃😅 I don't trust writers to make sml sad and let ml have the last laugh at the end, at least he will still be close to fl even being her friend 😁😁😁

Yet she’s shaking when she tries to take a picture of SML with others, her eyes get misty( maybe her like that because I see it his in her other dramas she always near crying like ) , she can’t talk, and she freezes when she sees him!?
What I see in her eyes is disappointment, more than trauma or childish thinking. It feels like she wishes he would accept her in past it will be different now , because she keeps trusting his insecure actions as signs that he also wants to be with her like you said with her naivety .
And what frustrates me is that it’s half of the drama, and she’s still like this. I know for sure she’ll need another five episodes or more before she accepts the ML’s confession.
So they’ll probably date for ten episodes at most, if they even give them that and it's not about their dating they will focus on other things like they always do in Cdramas , and a time skip is definitely coming. In the end, we’ll watch them together for less time than the time she spent dreaming about being with the SML 😅

This is about the writers, not the FL. But I’ve noticed something: this actress, even in another drama, always shows more love in her eyes toward the SML than the ML, . If you watch her other drama The Royal Princess, you’ll understand exactly what I mean

He still has a big chance if he changes and does what he said to his brother 😅 because she still loves him, and she doesn’t love the ML yet. She nearly cried when she saw him at the ski resort, and her hands were shaking like a girl does when she sees her crush in front of her, lol.

I guess they’ll give the SML more depth than the ML, show his sad backstory and his reasons, and in the end she’ll feel sorry for him and become his friend after rejecting him , when he finally confesses, after she has already “moved on” a couple of episodes (or more because I think the drama it's too long so they make her don't move till last third of the drama ) later, lol.

Sorry for the rants and the long paragraphs. It’s a frustrating subject for me, and I vent whenever I get the chance. Because of this, I stopped watching C-dramas there no equality between ml and fl in the effort for the relationship and level of love , even though I actually like watching romantic C-dramas, unfortunately , so I enjoy discussion about it and write different opinions from the majority of viewers 😅😮‍💨

And that’s exactly what I said: they always rely on stupid C-drama tropes. Not normal things like what you mentioned, where the leads actually get to know each other and have time alone , but instead they write the ML as a simp chasing after her while she hasn’t even moved on from the SML, and she testing another one to make him do what she did to her crush , after rejecting him .
On top of that, they give the SML more screen time, a more important role, and more depth than the ML ( and all of this is waste of time in my opinion because at the end he will be her friend and ml has to accept that and fans will be happy because everyone happy) .

And this happened in another C-drama with the same FL( I don't have anything against the actress saying this because some crazy fans🤡 , think saying your opinion about a drama and don't like the lazy writers make you a hater and hate real people because of fiction dramas ) : the SML had a much bigger and deeper role, while the ML’s entire life and purpose was just loving the FL and suffering until she forgive him even when he didn't do anything . And when the SML did much worse things, she still forgive him easily, lol.

And I bet the other tropes I mentioned will be used as well. That’s why I prefer novels, like I said, because they give the ML more dignity and a little bit of self respect , and personality, and the FL actually tries, even a little, to please him the way he does for her from beginning to end.
Unlike C-dramas, where the ML does everything for the FL, while the FL does everything for her crush or "ex" , who doesn’t even respect her, yet she still can’t move on from him. And I know for a fact that later she won’t do anything like that for the ML, and not feel the same way about him , only if they actress good enough to show with her eyes that she loves ml more and say it with her actions not just words and teasing like most Cdramas .

This is why I don’t like recent C-dramas where the FL is already in a relationship at the beginning and then ends up with the ML later. You can clearly feel that her love for her ex was more real and deeper than her love for the ML. She did much more for her ex and for that relationship, while the ML has to do everything, because his role is basically to be her prize after she suffers with her ex. 😅

I read that they change things after episode 13 from the novel, so the drama will follow what’s normal in C‑dramas 😅, not what’s in the novel. In the novels, most of the time, MLs have more realistic manly qualities and dignity, and the relationships are healthy and equal. In C‑dramas, however, they often write MLs doing everything for the FLs,and she just focus on her work , while the SML also have more screen and many times have more depth than the ml .
What A good cdrama would be if the SML didn’t exist until the end😅😅, chasing after the FL and fighting the ML for her, and she don't have any boundaries with him .
They would show his sad story and reasons for what he did , and maybe save the FL couple times, and she would feel sorry for him , reject his confession when he do , stay as his friend, and help him move on , just like she moved on with the ML help .

I bet these tropes will appear in this drama because it’s long, with 36 episodes, and this is only half of it, they need to fill it with tropes and work drama .

It’s a normal thing in C‑dramas: FLs love their exes and crushes more than the MLs 😅, and they have no boundaries with the SML. The ML gets jealous, and the SML also thinks he has a chance, so he chases after her as well. She doesn’t even think she’s doing anything wrong. In the end, she ends up with the ML and stays friends with the SML. The ML can’t say anything about it, or he’s considered insecure and untrusting of her. He also has to be some kind of friend with the SML because it would make her sad if he didn’t 😅🤡. I can bet that she will have scenes with sml laughing and smiling and close to him while ml watching them , and make a joke of himself getting jealous and afraid she will not accept him or misunderstood the situation , lol

you're making a fallacy by saying what people in love do is what this ML is doing. 🙄 Another mistake is that he chooses to give just more, like you saying she gives a little too !, but the truth is he gives everything, and she is just receiving, not even apologizing to begin with.Also, his friend shouldn’t have to accept his wrong choices without doing anything or they're stop being his friends !!! that’s not what friends are for. At the very least, they should help him have a good relationship this time by making the selfish girlfriend realize how much he has suffered and sacrificed for her selfish reasons without saying anything . If she doesn’t realize it, she will make him suffer again and he will risk missing the chance to succeed and develop in his career.Her absence and existence have the same result: he has to sacrifice and suffer , just to please her and be around her he has to give everything else !? . His friend makes her aware so she can change a little, support him for once, and give something in return for everything he has given her for years. Her sad story doesn’t give her the right to make his life miserable. If she truly loved him, she would sacrifice something for him at least once, and it's best not leave him again and break his heart doing that thinking she's doing him a favor ( this a stupid trope in kdrama) .This is what a good friend does, even if he doesn’t want them to intervene, It’s like knowing your friend is addicted to something harmful but doing nothing, that’s not a good friend. Friends are there to wake us up for our own good, not to support us while we walk toward the edge.

So, will they break up and have a time skip, or will they get together after one year, get married the next year, and then have another time skip until their children are in school? 😅🤣 I read that there’s no breakup in the novel, so I think it’s just a time skip of them dating, getting married, and then another time skip , like in a recent C-drama. like a recent Cdrama summit of our youth, they dated 4 years , and they meet before that one year or more and time skip of many years till 2024 ,

unfortunately, i like romance, so i let my frustrations out about these c-drama tropes. they write mls as simps with no personality ,their only role is to live for loving the fl and running after her all the time, and have "EQ" understanding her because she likes another man( for more than half of the drama.)
And they write ml becomes a joke because of jealousy, since she doesn’t care "indirectly" about his feelings. she doesn’t set boundaries with her crush, and he’s still close to her. she keeps looking at him with loving eyes, and the ml, like a simp, tolerates all of that. then some people say, “he’s mature” or “he has high EQ.”
this is what you get when women define what a man is: a man with no self-respect or standards is called a “green flag ” and praised for his EQ, because he chasing and loving a woman who loves another man and hasn’t even moved on from him after he treated her badly and made her look like a loser.
meanwhile, with the ml, she plays hard to get and makes him work for her. because she chased the sml before, now she wants to feel how it is to be chased , rejecting him while he still wants her, just like she did with the sml.
and i bet she’ll still be friends with the sml at the end and feel sorry for him , the ml will have no say in it, and he’ll also be forced to be kind of friends with him. he’ll end up making a joke of himself, feeling insecure and jealous whenever he sees her laughing with the sml, classic cliché scenes in c-dramas like this.

Another C-drama with the same plot: the FL has an ex or a crush, so they make him bad at first and the ML a green forest.” Then the SML suddenly changes for the better and gets more screen time after because of jealousy , and that she still likes him not the ml, so he has no boundaries with the FL, and she doesn’t have any either , this they do it to make ml jealous and fight to please her more , it's more than half of drama and she still likes the one who hurt her , and still testing the one who confess to her .also sml will give him a sad backstory and excuses for why he treated her badly, so she feels sorry for him, gives him time to confess, and she says, “Let’s be friends.”I’ll bet anyone this is exactly what will happen. The ML will also end up kind of friends with him. In the end, the FL is the winner: she has a simp as her boyfriend and her first-love crush, in the friend zone, both doing everything to make her happy, while their entire lives revolve around her and her happiness, lol , who's more lucky than her and still can see her first love doing stuff and regretting that he didn't win her while she get with a simp that fall for her first sight and love her more than himself.

I agree with you, just think about it: while she was married, he was faithful to her and never even thought about another woman, lol. And when he wants to seduce her (they do this scene to make ml look like a joke and he's a good comedy material ), he can’t, because he’s that innocent and has a virgin mindset. Meanwhile, she doesn’t even think about him sexual and laughs at his weakness , how he gets turned on easily while she doesn’t. Logically, one has experience, and the other is a simp virgin whose only experience was with her maybe a decade ago, lol, and she can control herself about anything of it's about him , like break up with him leave him g t back with him and make him help her and other stuff everything she can make him do it without even ordering him 😅, like you said if she leaves him third time he will still wait her .

it's a Cdrama so never expect sml to stop at the beginning he will just start running after her and make ml jealous and misunderstanding the situation
