Another C-drama where “being independent and strong” means not taking care of your man or home, just focusing on your career, and having men do everything for you because they like you more if you don’t do anything for them or make them a priority the way they make you (and should). 😅 When an ML puts his work and career first and doesn’t have time for his girlfriend, it’s considered a red flag and toxic, and he ends up apologizing every time in a C-drama. But when it’s the FL doing that, it’s called being independent and strong, and she’s still the one who deserves unconditional love and is seen as a “green forest” just because she once helped the ML during a hard time by saying a thing or two, lol.

It’s a Chinese drama, so the FL has no boundaries with her ex and makes the ML jealous—this cliché is the norm for C-drama writers. The FL men love her unconditionally because she’s putting her career first, and she does nothing in the relationship or before it and just focus on other stuff, I don't know how Cdrama writers think, to make mls do everything before the relationship and in the relationship and still act like he's walking on thin ice with her or she will be mad or break up with him or chose sml or another man!!!?


In some C-dramas, I’ve counted that the FL literally does nothing for the ML, yet he worships her while she uses him, teases him, and makes him apologize even when he hasn’t done anything wrong. Unfortunately, fewer and fewer C-dramas have equality in the relationship between the ML and FL, or give the ML an important role beyond just going back in time to like the FL, trying to be with her, competing with the SML and other men for her attention, and accepting being her second or third priority.

the dramas I like is when fl and ml both make same effort in the relationship, and they love each other and respect each other and have boundaries and good communication, the best drama have this is " road home"

If the ML were the one to do that, it would turn into a big misunderstanding, and he would have to beg and apologize for several episodes until the FL forgave him. But since it’s the FL, it won’t be a big deal, and she won’t even apologize for saying that or for going to her ex. In C-dramas, especially in this genre, MLs are just simps without dignity or personality. I bet that if he ever got mad or angry, she would ignore him too, and he would end up apologizing instead—for getting mad because of her rude attitude or for helping her ex if she did it.

Another C-drama, another simp, and another stupid double standard about jealousy scenes—where the ML acts like he cheated or something just because someone liked him in the past (one-sided). But the FL proudly says she’s dated three men before, and by implying that women don’t tell the truth about it, she’s probably dated more 😅😅. She makes him apologize every time she's jealous, teases him when he’s jealous,

And why does the ML always have to prove himself to her father and family, make her the leader in the relationship, and cook for them!? Meanwhile, the ML’s family easily accepts the FL and even forces him to date her just because she was “kind” during their first meeting!?
