Yeah, sort of looking back, I think the actual focus on JM/JZ throughout the series without a lot of unnecessary…
Yeah thatās what I did with first frost. Skipped all the second leadsā and grandparentsā storylines. Didnāt impact my understanding of the plot at all, which makes me think the screenwriter got forced to make more episodes than necessary but wanted the audience to be able to skip them too š
I just donāt see who else wouldāve been a better fit for Jiang Mu haha. Itās tough to act like a 20 year…
Haha yeah they remind me of characters straight out of a manhua! Idk if you saw photos of their real life āstreet styleā, but man the casting ppl did a good job. Iām pretty sure both actors used some of their own clothes (or kept some clothes from the set, or both).

Itās jut uncomfortable all around for everyone ā the actress wants to be more āpureā, the actor needs to maintain boundaries to not get cancelled, the audience is left grasping for straws on the chemistry front

Yeah Iāve been thinking this exact train of thought every time I read a criticism on the FL combined with praise for chemistry. But I didnāt say much cuz Iām conflict avoidant
Iām not sure if this is appropriate to say, but their aesthetic chemistry is also top notch. Esther is super feminine (slender but curvy, her facial features are very softly harmonious?) while He Yu is probably one of the most masculine looking guys in c-ent (broad shoulders, works out, sharp but non exaggerated features). Ngl Iāve been anticipating the chemistry ever since I saw the leads casted haha
A supposed legit and fair review lost its credibility the minute it gave all the praises to the ML, and resorted…

Do I think Jiang Muās Thailand scenes are a bit exaggerated at times? Yes. But I think the payoff in her emotional scenes in Nanjing are worth it
Said drama has more than like TEN LEADS and I barely see the lead leads interact

I listened to her birthday concert! It was so nicely put together, and her OSTs are always pleasant to listen to
