I mean he really doesn't need to do that when he's going crazy viral for drama....idk if it's my algorithm but…
Yep I agree! He also included a special thank you to Esther in his Weibo post saying goodbye to the show (sry if you already mentioned it in your post, I haven’t hit refresh on the page yet), which overall gives me good vibes about him
I like how He Yu wore the helmet Esther gifted him to his NEW drama, and he liked some of Esther’s recent posts on insta today after script reading for his new drama
Maybe it’s a play to get more of Esther’s / SAL’s fans but I also feel like he genuinely does whatever f he wants (the man already got hated on for having two dating scandals) vs. following the rules of c-ent, which I respect. Hope he and Esther can stay good friends after this and continue to support each other!
so nicely compiled and looks so surreal! thumbs up to the person who created this. people were commenting if they're…
Hahah I saw the same. Someone else also said we don’t want the wedding scene just to “watch” it, but we want to feel like we’re participating in their joy together 🥺
I am just happy for the cast that it exploded internationally even with very little promotion.
I’ve only fallen into a deep hole with like 4 dramas (CLOY, LBFAD, Lovely Runner, and this), with this being THE supermassive black hole that I’ve fallen into, so I’m also personally lowkey a bit mad it’s not a domestic hit like the others lol 😂

Just looking at TikTok hashtags, SAL already has more than all the cdramas this year, about the same as Squid Game 3, more than Kdramas like Dear X and Dynamite Kiss, and seems to be on track to surpass When Life Gives You Tangerines + Bon Appetite Your Majesty (give those two shows aired a lot earlier)
While hashtags definitely aren’t all encompassing, it does make me happy that the cast and crew’s efforts weren’t wasted (looking at u IQIYI…). If anyone has better metrics, pls lmk!
Okay I’m on rednote and they’re speculating that Zhao Zhao sent his medical report to Mumu because he might…
The novel explicitly mentioned it was not an issue LOL
I think the dialogue went something like: Zhao: I have some other complications Mu: Can you not have children..? 👀 Zhao: No that’s not it. Want me to prove it to you? 😏
the inside joke wasn't part of the book, but there are a lot of speculations that his visits abroad were actually…
supposedly that's where he said 'i love you' ugh (according to a leaked script). ugh imagine if that was actually the scene and they cut to flashbacks of him checking in on her the past 6 years despite his poor health :(((
i guess in a way... it's a good thing they cut a bunch of scenes... cuz i might end up camping on SAL content through 2027 if they hadn't
Btw they didn't elaborate on the "inside" joke or whatever they we re talking about at the end of ep 27…
the inside joke wasn't part of the book, but there are a lot of speculations that his visits abroad were actually secret visits to mumu in canada, to check up on her wellbeing. there's a photo of him posing at the library where mumu was talking to her senior. also some angles of mumu abroad were shot from a 3rd person POV, almost like someone's observing her. and when mumu was talking to the senior in the park, there were noticeable sounds of camera shutters (which can't be an accident). so ppl were theorizing that part of the reason zhaozhao didnt contact her is that he misunderstood and thought mumu was dating the senior. it also jives with the fact that jin zhao saw mumu lose her keychain at the airport, and secretly returned it to her
if this is all true, im disappointed they cut it out but can understand why since it feels a little stalker-ish lol
In Episode 20, right before Mu leaves for Canada, she meets Jin Zhao on a rooftop (right after he wakes up in…
he basically mustered up all his energy to show the best version of himself to mumu, so she can feel at ease when she leaves him to go take care of her mom. if mumu knew his real condition, he knew she would never leave him.
in a later episode, you can see him falling to the ground in pain, after mumu leaves. also doing so basically delayed his recovery (i think a doctor warned him, either in the novel or tv show, idr)
Currently EP18:This is my opinion so far on this C-drama (not a final review).Basically, the ML is very handsome.…
I personally like how she’s very mentally tough and empathetic while keeping her cute playfulness! It’s nice to see female roles that aren’t confined to a one-dimensional toughness
It’s for Di Mou, with Bao Shang En.

Haha jk. I’m unwell cuz I was hoping for the wedding episode today since it’s the official finale
