why does this have such a low rating, genuinely asking? I have yet to start it.
to explain the low rating -- the drama shows that they broke up in the 1st episode, then flashes back to the past for 15 eps, which it tough to enjoy when you know they're going to break up. the rationale isn't solid and there's a lot of cliche stuff. people feel like the FL doesn't reciprocate the ML's love, but imo that's every other drama and those get higher ratings lol
i watched the first 8-9 eps until they got tgt, then watched eps 15 onwards, so i didn't feel like it was as draggy hehe. i'm pretty excited for the tension etc. in the present time, when they meet again after having been broken up for 10 years. so far their acting is fine and i feel enough chemistry, so i'm personally enjoying it \_(._.)_/

Depends on what you’re looking for. If you wanna unwind after a long day, this drama is great. If you’re looking for nuanced plot lines etc, this ain’t it
it feels like the main leads are lacking screen presence / main lead energy. I want to blame the director, since CDL SERVED in LGIEF (albeit small role) and the guy was pretty solid in Shen Li
But omg if I see my husband willing to put his life on the line for me over and over, I’d try to hear him out before stabbing him yet again
