I agree, the actors should not have to suffer because of the runner's casting choices. Unfortunately a lot of people are not watching this drama, I've seen a lot of people on tiktok with lots of followers post videos of how they are not watching this because it's not aligned with their moral values. Also a looooot of angry comments ever since it was first announced. I can respect the issue against a minor being a FL in a romance tagged drama, but I don't think it's fair to take it on the cast, especially the ML for this. 17 is still a minor age in China, but as many people pointed out, this is a very controlled environment where she contantly has guardians accompanying her, plus we know the strict regulation will never allow anything beyond a hug, perhaps a forehead kiss between the leads...
😂😂, this drama and "See You At Work Tomorrow" is rage- baiting me and it almost has the same pattern…
Daaamn 🤣 you're brave lol I already dropped this one unfortunately, can't even imagine watching 2 dramas with this kind of turbulence, I am mostly watching cdrama to escape from the daily stress, not add some more 😭
The comment section is truly funny. Like seriously such outrage and i have a feeling if i get to the eps everyone…
Honestly, I hope you enjoy it 😂 Maybe your tolerance level is stronger than mine because I really tried to fight for this drama lmao.
For me, it wasn’t one “OMG unforgivable” moment that made me drop it. It was more like watching a ship slowly take on water while everyone on board was still looking pretty and pretending everything was fine 😭 The chemistry and acting were genuinely great, which is why I stayed as long as I did, but the constant misunderstandings, lack of communication, and some character choices slowly drained my patience.
The episode everyone talks about was basically just where I personally reached my limit. Someone else might watch it and completely understand or even enjoy that direction, and that’s totally fair. Different dramas trigger different levels of frustration for everyone 😂
Either way, I hope you have a better experience than I did! I’ll be watching from the shore with my little “I tried” flag 💀
lmaoo the way I came here to write exactly this 🤣 I didn't even finish the episode just the scene at the beach…
The FL is openly flirting with the SML in fron the ML and I just don't like how this feels, the story was dragging as it is and now this just is becoming exhausting...
This is exactly the review that I was looking for!!! I'm only 4 episodes in and I was looking for a review to…
Haha I feel you girl! I originally started this as a filler while waiting for the episodes for other dramas to drop but it was pretty much a wreck lol I have no idea how and why did I finish it 😭
28 episodes are way too short 😭😭😭😭😭😭, i remember being anxious about thatlet's see , may be…
Agreed, perhaps if it had 36-40 eps they would've inserted tons of misunderstanding and separations, which would've dragged the story needlessly. This could work in our favor 🙌
