Anytime! I get you, personally I actually loved the FL character in this one quite a bit since I could relate to her on so many levels, but yes, if you are looking for a dynamic like that, this one will piss you off :) The most fresh modern drama with a more balanced dynamic that comes to mind is Love between lines, but indeed, practically nonexistent lately

It leans more toward the ML being the more outwardly “in love” and active one for most of the story—he falls harder first, does most of the chasing, and even after the 10-year separation he’s the one trying to win her back.
That said, it’s not one-sided in feelings. The FL does care about him deeply (we later learn she had admired him even before they properly met), but she’s much more restrained in how she shows it since her character was forced to be more mature due to circumstances.
After they reconcile as adults, it becomes noticeably more balanced and sweet, with her also being openly affectionate and even proposing.
So overall: more ML-yearning heavy for a good chunk of it, but not a purely “he does 99% of the work” type throughout. I loved the last 5 episodes, but the 20+ eps before that frustrated me
Ok, the last 5 episodes are delightful, they're so cute together, and I love that she proposes first, pookie deserved it 😍 finally what I wanted to see
Watched this way before is finally got posted on MDL and my review is lost somewhere in the void lmao. As far as mini dramas go this one actually got me invested. Loved it, chemistry was ok, characters were questionable sometimes, it did have a lot of the common tropes but all in all not a bad one. The ending though 🤦♀️ spoiler below
ok I hate how cdrama synopses basically describe what happens halfway or sometimes even more in the drama. so…
It depends if you enjoy to binge a drama or prefer one episode a day. Personally I prefer to binge as for me the one episode a day loses the momentum and I regret starting it so early tbh especially that we have yet to see the big angst plot point...plus the airing schedule is pure torture...
When are we getting the adult era bro, I'm exhausted with this teenager stuff push and pull situation 😭😭😭😭 Maybe I should continue watching once the adult ark is here 😭
It's cute and messy, love the leads but I'm lowkey exhausted from this push and pull situation lol
For real! I don’t get why the FL just doesn’t tell the ML everything—he would 100% help her, and they could at least team up and plan something against the evil mom. Even if they had to pretend at first, it would stop her from constantly sabotaging both their futures.
I’m honestly just counting down to the adult arc at this point haha

They do have plenty of cute moments, but tbh I can't enjoy them fully since I know the angst is like a dark cloud over them and it's stressing me a little 😁 I know we're supposed to enjoy these moments but dang it, it's hard
