Dang, 10 more eps and we're still in this mess? I was hoping they would solve it by now and move to the capital plot (if there is any), but oh well. Today's episodes were still very good.

I get why it looks annoying at first glance, but a lot of this is actually explained if you pay close attention…
Thanks! Ikr, like sure, let's get pneumonia but hey, at least we didn't ride with the competitor 🤦‍♀️ Fair point about the ML, I like how he explains it later and how they talk bout it in the previews.

Haha fair, we clearly see this very differently 😅

Personally, I still think she acted professionally and reasonably given the circumstances.

Let’s indeed agree to disagree, no hard feelings.

I agree that the other party isn’t behaving professionally—that’s exactly the point. His lack of professionalism isn’t something she can control, and it doesn’t automatically mean she failed at hers.

Being an adult at work also means handling imperfect situations calmly, not overreacting or escalating things when there’s no immediate need to. She assessed the moment, set boundaries, and kept things professional on her end. That IS grown-up behavior.

Most likely, she would’ve informed her colleagues as soon as she got back to the office—or home—but since the ML decided to swoop in like that, we’ll never know.

I don’t understand why she stayed alone at that site 🤷🏽‍♀️. That was totally unnecessary. And she…
I get why it looks annoying at first glance, but a lot of this is actually explained if you pay close attention to the episodes. Professionally, she didn’t really do anything wrong. Being in the same space as a competitor and acting civil doesn’t automatically equal bad judgment 😅

Also, the idea that she lacks professional integrity feels a bit wild when the show clearly frames her as the opposite. She’s not naïve—she understands the tension. But there are circumstances. Her colleagues were in a meeting, and calling them to come get her could’ve come across as entitled and unprofessional.

Yes, the SML obviously has ulterior motives, but she clearly refused him first and later kept her distance. And I’m sorry, but choosing to jeopardize your safety and get drenched just to make a point instead of accepting a basic polite gesture? That’s… a choice.

They’re all grown people, not feral teenagers. Being competitors doesn’t mean they suddenly lose the ability to behave professionally. Also, unpopular opinion maybe, but I’m not a huge fan of the ML swooping in like that either. Let the woman prove herself.

MDL really went: “You didn’t need those 7 episodes anyway” 😭
I’m glad you enjoyed it 😊 For me, it just didn’t quite land, and that’s okay. Since it follows a familiar formula I’ve already seen many times, I personally didn’t feel motivated to commit to 40 episodes of it. Different tastes and viewing priorities. No drama is going to work for everyone, and that’s part of the fun of watching so many of them 😄

I understand, I have been in a lump ever since LITC cause nothing that was airing really hit me these past few months.
Glory is amazing, got me hooked from day 1 and yeah the suffering, especially they really went with no episode day and a lot of 1 episode per day is just cruel 😭😭😭
Enjoy Love between lines if you do decide to watch it!

I didn't understand what they were saying since the preview has no subtitles, but I thought he has a secret identity?
Ohhhh, that changes everything, thank you for the context!😻

Yeah, I totally get what you’re saying, and you’re right — open endings do leave room for interpretation. For me personally though, it is a letdown to invest 40 episodes and get that emotionally attached, only to feel like my heart got gently but firmly stomped on at the end 😅

I think for a lot of people, C-dramas are an escape from everyday bitterness, so a sad or open ending can hit harder than expected. That said, everyone experiences stories differently, and that’s totally valid. There were also a few other reasons TUS didn’t fully work for me, but at the end of the day it really does come down to personal preference.

I'm loving it a lot, it's great and yes addicting. The chemistry is lit, both leads are great ( although I'm biased since I love them both). The plot is interesting, both the game world and real world. I would definitely recommend it, but if you can wait on more episodes to air and slowly start it maybe it would be less stressful. Some people ( and by some I mean myself lmao) just don't do well with airing schedules. I'm a binger through and through.

Although she could have not predicted the exact governor's move, she could have guessed the collusion of the sister…

The wait is stressful indeed, I wish I started this when more episodes were out instead of day 1 😭

Wow dang your watching schedule is packed 😂

I dropped TUS as well early on cause I could smell the sad ending from a mile away 🙈

I am enjoying Love between lines a lot, although it's a different genre than Shine on me, the story, chemistry and visuals are great.

I understand why that interpretation didn’t sit right with you, but I genuinely don’t think her actions were driven by a desire to test or provoke LJL’s concern. He’s been quite open about his feelings from the start, and if that were her intention, there would have been far safer ways to go about it. More importantly, that would run counter to her established character.

My reading is that both she and LJL are deliberately maneuvering to draw out the people operating behind the scenes. That said, I do agree that LJL likely didn’t anticipate her ending up in prison, and in that sense her actions may have complicated matters for him , so I am concerned here as well.

For now, I’m still placing my trust in the FL as a character; she hasn’t let me down so far, which makes me inclined to believe there’s more going on than what we’re being shown. The way both leads see through Yun Shu’s tactics (their expressions during the kneeling scene with grandma were quite telling and hilarious) reinforces that for me.

I’m hoping this arc resolves decisively, because I’m very ready for the story to move on to the capital plot.

Lol , I was enjoying him going off way too much 😅 you could tell RSB was low-key amused too because she saw how genuinely worried he was.

I get what you’re saying though. She could’ve at least suspected the sister and checked the warehouses more carefully, especially given the history. One could argue she knew about the evidence and was betting on LJL to clear her name and drag the governor and the traitor into the light like she said.
But realistically, I don’t think she’d knowingly risk the tea or the plantation just to make a point. So yeah… that scolding was earned 😂
