Star power? It has the power of good actors which is always better. It will touch the ratings for sure. They will be much bigger as stars after this drama though I have personally always loved them

For me, it just didn't have the simplicity and authenticity of the original cdrama.
It seemed overproduced and ...a bit over in every department.
I was so excited for it...but now, I would rather watch the Original again than complete this one

Sorry but it is more toxic. Crime and mental health are two different things. Its toxic for the brain...not necessarily for the body. Has one of the highest suicide rates in the world...and the alonh with all the isms like racism, classism...they have an added "lookism" so...

These websites are the ones which actually made kdrama industry what it is today. Netflix and prime wouldn't even look towards korean content before this. They should continue such sites...otherwise, the content will again be replaced by spicelss western shows

That "see through clothing" comment? Yeah! That was nasty. Ihe got rightly bashed for it..and that too a lot. As for his acting career, I don't think I need to punish him for a comment for the rest of his life. People grow and I hope he learnt to not assume things and keep his mouth shut too. That being said, I LOVE THE CHARACTER

You gotta be kidding me... not all production houses have time and money to teach the actors sign languages and hire experts for that. It increases the budget a lot. They don't seem to have a problem with scenes showing senior colleagues forcing alcohol on juniors past their work time which is there in pretty much every other kdrama

I like her and I won't judge her for giving justice to what the writer has written. Why impose your ideology on koreans? A lot of korean actresses who are top of their game have done a few movies like that and they are STILL MY FAV ...it never matters to true admirers. It always matters to people who have twisted ideas of modesty regarding women's clothing

Right. I don't understand why people want to control other people's lives...let them live the characters properly without judgement. This also shows how people judge only actresses and not MALE ACTORS FOR THOSE SCENES. GHASTLY!

She is an actress? Any actress? What is that supposed to mean? Isn't it about dignity of labor? How are other actresses different? The judgment coming from you is not welcome. Besides, this entire thing is supposed to have those scenes. Don't ruin it for people who don't judge actresses for just giving justice to a certain writer's work.

So it will be a tragedy !! I have seen all versions of Les Liaisons Dangereuses. I AM ALREADY SAD 😔 😭 Since South korea has already made a good movie on it, I hope they loosely interpret it for this drama. Kdrama lovers search for escapism. We don't want a slice of cruel reality. We have enough of that.

I am particularly glad that you added the music scene to the list. That scene was a pure representation of a lot of legends about famous musicians in Asia in general... who were believed to be so powerful that they could move forces of nature.

I loved the drama but I HAVE HIGHER EXPECTATIONS FROM CHINESE DRAMAS. This drama has certain clichés and somewhat unrealistic plots. I have also seen a fair share of "fan service" in this one. Everything going too smoothly for FL and her being some undefeatable goddess is also a bit... irksome .
SOMEONE POINTED OUT MING LAN and yes! That's a better representation but its too long for modern audience and non cdrama audience.
I feel like China is capable of producing extremely high quality dramas within 10-15 episode. This might become a breakthrough for them to become Irreplaceable and create a niche

This one is good one for cdrama audience but I am comparing it to the best shows all over the world and it doesn't meet the standards of Chinese classics and some great cinema overseas

Ju ji hoon was something ELSE in his younger dramas (as a visual) and he was a decent actor even then. Now, he seems to have gottene even better

I agree. I have seen those "good" dramas. I feel bad for commenting on this platform (where you can get attacked for opinions) but man, if those shows weren't soo many episodes, Chinese dramas would have been extremely popular. Not only did they reduce the quality of those shows but also reduced the viewership to older women...who, in the older days had attachment to TV screens and a different kind of viewing habits.
That needs to be changed now...especially if they want to expand their audience.
