Honestly... I don't even know what to say. All my excitement is completely gone. 💔
Sometimes, even something bad comes with something good. At least we will get to see CZY play several different characters in one drama.
Besides, all of his costumes look amazing and there are so many that I have already lost count. Maybe, just maybe, seeing CZY in all those different costumes will be enough to keep me looking forward to the drama 🤣
But... next year still feels so far away. I really hate waiting ðŸ˜

From the start, I have felt that 100 days of filming and only 30 episodes seem far too short for this kind of story. I have already seen some romantic scenes in the Reuters which is fine, romance is always nice to have but I am looking forward to the actual storyline much more than just a pure romance.
However, with this director....we cannot guarantee anything, so at this point, my faith in the drama rests entirely on the scriptwriter and the post-production editing team 😂

The excitement surrounding this drama seems to have faded since the director’s current drama came out 🤣 But it is still CZY’s drama, so there is no way I am going to miss it. Besides, we cannot really judge the quality before it actually airs. As long as it is watchable, that should already be good enough for us. It does not need to be exceptionally good, just watchable 🤣
I’ve kinda lost hope for Ao Chi and Sha Luo’s romantic scenes, so let’s move on to my favorite bromance:…
I saw their Reuters today and their scenes together already look quite interesting...
I also noticed a while ago that the actor playing Ao Chi’s guard during the Republican era was in Fated Hearts as well—he played one of the guards there too. I really liked him in FH, so I am glad he gets to work with Zheyuan again in this drama.
Can I ask why everyone is saying like this overdo director is same overdo is really really good not bad
I think it depends on the audience’s expectations. Viewers these days have much higher standards and often compare one drama with another. When a drama falls short of what they expected, they may leave harsh or negative reviews, while other viewers can still enjoy it based on their own preferences and experiences.
Also, if the leads are their favorite, some people will probably keep watching anyway. My suggestion is not to rely too much on other people’s opinions or even the ratings. Watch it yourself first. If you enjoy it, just keep watching regardless of what anyone else says. If you do not like it, simply drop it. It is as easy as that.
But in my opinion, criticism from the audience is still necessary. Otherwise, production companies may continue making low-quality dramas if nobody gives them honest feedback. The criticism should not be biased or malicious but it should still be truthful and fair.
Just wait till they announce the day before it will air lol... Jokes aside hope they announce by late this week…
I am still wondering whether the dubbing has already been completed since CZY just mentioned it a few days ago. I am not really familiar with the whole process.
The drama should be fully dubbed before the distribution license is granted, right? Anyone can correct me but I assume the censors would need to review and approve the final completed version including dubbing. In that case....the whole process might take more than just one or two weeks.
I am not sure about the promotion. I have barely seen this drama trending on Weibo, even though it is about to air. Of course, dramas usually need to pay for hot searches to trend like those heavily promoted productions backed by big investors. But this crew has seemed pretty broke from the beginning, so expecting proper promotion from them is basically like hoping to win the lottery 😂
As for the negative PR tactics, I honestly suspect YZ may be behind some of them. In my opinion, he has played dirty like this many times before and the way he uses negative publicity can end up affecting his own artists too. I feel sorry for them, they should leave him like BL did. This guy is really something...
However, I am already kind of used to it because many of CZY’s dramas rarely receive much promotion anyway. I will just enjoy watching the drama and try to stay away from fandom drama as much as possible.
I think the most beautiful and angsty part of Fusheng is the period after they come back from Warring State and…
Today, I noticed that CZY arrived at the filming location very early and also left early. Usually, they film into the evening and often do not finish until after midnight, so I wonder whether the director has finally received a wake-up call and decided to make some changes how he directs the drama. I really hope he improves things and does not ignore the criticism. I know there are not many filming days left but I am still hoping he can fix whatever is not working before they wrap up and everyone moves on to their next projects. At least this drama seems to have an interesting story. As you mentioned, if it is done right, it could be very engaging because it is not limited to just one era, it also involves time travel, parallel universes and other interesting elements. Man......I am just praying that it turns out to be at least watchable for the audience with a well executed plot. The post-production editing also needs to be much more precise. They cannot just chop scenes together carelessly, throw out whatever they want and assume the audience will accept it. That would honestly feel insulting to the viewers...
