Was those bg of open field green screen? It doesn't look well editedš . I only care about plot but those bg…
Most of the desert scenes were filmed using a green screen, and the production team isnāt exactly top-tier either. I guess itās better to focus on enjoying the plot and the acting.
Just for the record, this production team was working with a very limited budget, LOL, and most of the crew were quite new to drama production. The drama was also suddenly released without any prior announcement or promotion. So, I didnāt have high expectations at first but it actually turned out to be quite watchable which is good enough for me since I get to watch CZY and WJY together.
They just changed the dramaās title back to "Yu Ting Yao". Iām not sure why, but it still doesnāt…
There are so many rumors on Weibo.....some say the 27th while others say the 28th. But the main point is that I still havenāt seen the distribution license being issued yet.
They just changed the dramaās title back to "Yu Ting Yao". Iām not sure why, but it still doesnāt have an English title anyway š And yes, it is coming.
Hi sis! here i am again. can you share a little bit about the grand finale of Fusheng? does AC and SL will happily…
There are only about 20 days of filming left and I am still not sure how much progress they have made. Some people are even saying that parts of the script may have been cut.
The appearance of so many new actors makes sense because the story also includes several supporting characters, not just the leads. But I still cannot understand how they plan to fit such a detailed story into only 30 episodes, especially with just around 100 days of filming. Some dramas with much simpler stories take more than 120 days to film.
I am completely fine with shortening the story instead of dragging it out unnecessarily, but this drama spans several eras and includes many side stories. How are they going to cover everything properly in only 30 episodes? And now they may even be cutting down the romance between the leads too... š¤Ø
This drama has that cinematography, story and acting but sad thing there are nearly no promotion. They didn't…
Come to think of it, what CZY has achieved is actually quite good, right? His dramas have rarely received aggressive promotion, yet he has still managed to come this far and gain some fans. Many of us became his fans simply because we enjoyed his dramas and the characters he portrayed.
I am not saying he is perfect when it comes to acting, of course. He still has room to improve and I think he knows that too. That may be why he chooses to work alongside experienced actresses with excellent acting skills, such as WJY and LQ, who also do not rely heavily on promoting their on-screen pairings.
The Chinese entertainment industry is extremely tough and competitive. Popularity can be like a bubble, it rises quickly but can disappear just as fast. That is why I would rather see him continue improving his acting and follow the right path as an actor. I hope he focuses on making quality dramas instead of accepting just any project for the sake of becoming more popular.
Of course, I know it is difficult for an actor to have only high-quality dramas in their filmography because there are so many factors beyond their control. Still, we will soon get to see him play an emperor, another different character he chose to take on.
Letās wait a little longer and watch the drama when it finally comes out.
Iāve seen people express disappointment that Sha Lou shares more scenes with Zi Miao than with Ao Chi, and honestly,…
It is so romantic, if you ask me!!! The romance is not only about whether they are officially in love.....it is also in everything he did for her. Do you see what I mean? He gave her everything... even his actual heart, like, literally.
And what does he get in return? SL spends more time with the second male lead than with ACāthe man who did so much for her and gave her everything š«¤
Fine!!... if people want the female lead to be happy with the second male lead, then go ahead. But our AC will become one of the most pitiful yet unforgettable male lead ever!?!? He will be the kind of character that viewers who support the male lead will remember forever... I will be ACās number-one fan š

Our Zheyuan always tells his fans to be happy every day and not to worry too much about him. Of course, I will try to do as he says and stay happy but I still cannot help worrying about him because I want him to be happy too. I also hope that all his hard work will eventually pay off.
That is all I truly wish for him, the very best in everything he does.

Whether it is love or simply a deep bond in any form, they are still tied together for a thousand years, right? If the drama handles it properly, it could become a really beautiful love story.

I honestly have no idea how the timeline between the different eras works, LOL. I thought the Xianxia era could bring the story back to the thousand-year romance....even if he dies, his soul would still love her, no matter how many times he is reborn...
But maybe that is just my own delusional interpretation 𤣠I simply find that version much more compelling for a romance drama š¤£

Wait!! They changed the āthousand-year loveā into a āhundred-year loveā instead?! No wonder C-dramas are dying... The whole romantic appeal of a love that lasts for a thousand years is completely gone.
We cannot even get a proper hundred-year love story between AC and SL in the drama, let alone a thousand-year one. WTH?!
Iāve seen people express disappointment that Sha Lou shares more scenes with Zi Miao than with Ao Chi, and honestly,…
Right!!!! That is exactly why long-form Chinese dramas are declining in popularity in China. They keep producing nonsensical stories for whatever reason and it honestly feels like Chinese production companies love shooting themselves in the foot.

Then I will just ship Ao Chi with myself 𤣠It happens quite often in C-dramas that parts originally meant for the male lead are given to the second male lead instead.
If that really happens, I will simply watch the drama for Ao Chi. And if anyone tries to use CZY as a stepping stone, just know that I will not hold back from criticizing it either ššš
Honestly... I don't even know what to say. All my excitement is completely gone. š
Ohhh, really? I checked before and the original novel seemed far too long. Since they are apparently changing many things for the drama adaptation anyway, I did not bother reading it.
Slightly off topic, this is only one drama. I am sure we will get to see him in another drama with plenty of romantic moments too. I guess we just have to trust him and wait patiently for it.

Mid-to-late August would be fine with me.
