They can still ask him to promote the platform internationally even if he’s not the global ambassador, since he’s essentially an employee of their subsidiary. So the title of iQiyi Global Ambassador doesn’t really mean much, to be honest. It’s different from commercial brand ambassadors which require a formal business agreement. But I might be wrong.

It was all just rumors and smear campaigns, CZY himself never said or did anything wrong. People hated him simply because of what they heard online especially those ordering issue. Surprising, right? 🙁 (And now this issue happens everywhere with the rising star LOL )
On top of that, she never screened the production teams he worked with. Almost all the teams he joined were unprofessional. Thank God some of his projects had good directors and screenwriters, so those turned out well.
And when brands tried to contact his agency, they couldn’t reach anyone, which caused him to lose many opportunities. Fans even posted that they saw some company employees eating hotpot during working hours. I’m not sure whether they were joking or if it was real.
