watch now
lovely in idea, but not in reality. i would be hypercritical, watch it from not good place, would either end up ditching it or criticising or some other shit. as it is a big project i really want to make the space for it so it resonates fully. and that takes time and effort. i am currently making in my life space for something else while navigating and improving already existing stuff. This building is big, the other ones are bigger, so smaller intense high quality projects for me are better idea rn. I am also ditching so many right now airing series or movies i feel bad about that. It is not proper time to watch it - yet - as i did not even begun to actively thing about watvhing it. But i have no doubt it will be as i bear this project in mind as one of the bigger i missed. It is fine though. I still digest FoF after how long? 6-9 months after watching it? But thank you, one of these prompts might tip me off in the end, you can never know. :D

So agree! For this adaption they kinda pulled it off pretty well, I wondered also how this was going to come to…
tyyy! this and Fake Facts Lips are so drastically different and yet so unique - even budget/quality wise they are so somewhere else, and yet - in their goals they nailed it but OH SO FAR ABOVE EXPECTATIONS. Mindblowing. Amazing. Really happy! 🥰

I am a little bit torn. On one hand some things would deserve to be showed properly, not only said - so there comes my regret for this being a small scare series. On the other hand I am amazed everything they managed to fit in here properly despite it being small scale, limited budget etc. This might not be for every mood and for sophisticated type of viewer but for the genre, they made maximum. Very happy about this.🥰

I really regret starting this series early. Now in a dilemma torturing myself every week
In this specific case, I am happy. Otherwise I get you, I am in front of the same dilemma with chinese series that started airing.

"be trash again"? ZeeNunew series are always good bro
You must feel incredibly insecure with your psychological profile to shoot with emotionally strong words like "psychobabble", while trying to use my criticism and analysis of zero psychologizing as a shield and target.

“I’m not 100% supportive…”
You're defending yourself against something I didn’t actually claim (a bit of a strawman). It shifts the frame from my argument to your independence, which sounds strong but dodges the substance.
“Don’t even know where you came up with all this psychobabble.”
This is a classic dismissive move. Instead of engaging with specifics, you label your point as nonsense. It signals irritation more than argument.
“You’re entitled to your opinion…”
It sounds like respect, but in reality it’s more of a polite “and that’s where I’m ending this.” In a discussion, it’s more a way to shut it down without actually refuting anything.

“It doesn’t matter what production company.”
This is quite a strong generalization without evidence. A production company obviously can have an impact (budget, style, direction). So it comes across as a shortcut—simplifying reality to avoid nuance.

“Your opinion… is just that. Your opinion.”
Formally true, but trivial. It applies just as much to your own opinion—so it doesn’t really add anything.

“You don’t get to be the ultimate authority…”
Again, a response to something I didn’t claim. It attributes an extreme position to me so it can be rejected.
“I would trust… viewership and awards…”
This is an appeal to popularity and authority:
viewership ≠ quality
awards ≠ universal truth
It’s an argument, but a fairly weak one if we’re discussing critical evaluation.
Your response isn’t really about a substantive discussion. It’s more that you:
defend emotionally your own stance
downplays mine (by labeling it “psychobabble”)
leans on general authorities (audiences, awards) instead of addressing specific points.
You’ve just reduced your comment to self-defensive drivel. Good luck in life with that.
