totally agree. This was a masterpiece kdrama. Can't believe a sageuk of this beauty aired in 2020s. I even voted this drama as best drama of 2022 even though this only aired 1 day in 2022

I voted Moon Geun Young as no. 1. If we're keeping older actresses in their late 20s to early 30s, Moon Geun Young deserves most the top title. She is the original little sister since the early 2000s. And she earned the a daesang while she still have that title.

Can't believe it's coming today. The cast looks so pretty at the press conference, especially Moon Chae Won. Hope drama is successful

well deserved daesang for King of Tears Lee Bang Won

Try his movie Werewolf Boy, his performance there is really great despite having no lines. Park Bo Young is the female lead and she's cute there too.

He's also great in movie Forbidden Dream such a fantastic portrayal

I feel SJK dramas are very divisive. His dramas and movies are received differently by people because most of them are very different from each other. But his acting never disappoints. Just because he isn't part of the so called beginning of hallyu wave in the 2000s doesn't make him any less than the actors that got popular in that era. I personally think he's more versatile than most actors that got popular in that era as (except for a very few, namely actors who showed unique talent from sageuk dramas and movies at that time ) as he has shown more variety in his roles and he played all of them really well.
I feel the need to say this since I find some of his ex’s fans so annoying downplaying him on twitter (I don't hate her in fact I think she's pretty and she's not a bad actress, but her fans downplaying his career just makes me so annoyed) just because he got started acting and got popular later than her. The main reason he wasn't super popular prior to DOTS was simple: he hadn't had a romcom lead drama before that show. But he was on his way: he was a fan favorite in Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Innocent Man and Werewolf Boy were really popular and he even was nominated in Baeksang for the latter (against veteran actors 40+ years old), his short stint in Tree with Deep Roots received good reviews, he also had many offers after his successes even before DOTS. Plus his recent post DOTS projects, he got casted in them mostly because of his connection to his pre-DOTS projects. Arthdal Chronicles writers were the same people who worked with him in Tree with Deep Roots, its director is the one who did Sungkyunkwan Scandal. He was cast in Vincenzo because of his portrayal in Innocent Man, he got Space Sweepers because he worked with director in Werewolf Boy, him and Reborn Rich writer worked together in Sungkyunkwan Scandal.
As long as he isn't doing anything criminal, I wish people shouldn't judge him base on his private life.

those are not her children, the children she was with in her pics are the children of her friend. there are no rumors in Italy (country she was based in) about her having children. people in Italy quite know her because she was once in a movie popular for teenagers back in 2000s. it's only the korean tabloids putting up these rumors

This awards show is only for SBS channel. The 3 main stations in Korea are free channels like SBS, KBS, MBC, they've been around for more than 25 years at least. These have the tradition of awarding the dramas aired every year in their stations at the last day of the year. TVN, ENA, JTBC, etc are newer cable channels sadly they don't have the tradition of awarding dramas from their stations. You have to wait for major award shows like Baeksang or APAN which encompasses awarding all TV shows from various channels.

this drama is described by the actors and director as 80% melo and 20% thriller. you might try to watch with this on mind. try at least til episode 11.
