Moon Chae Won never got plastic surgery though, she's a natural. If you look at her face from Painter of the Wind Days (2008) and now, it's basically the same. Especially in Flower of Evil, her make-up there and her make-up in Painter of the Wind are very similar, thus her face is basically the same. Her nose during Painter of the Wind days and her nose now are also the same. You have to understand this was based on real history. King Jeongjo’s beloved concubine did die young and their young son did die young. You cannot portray a love story of King Jeongjo and this particular concubine without adding the sad events that happened. It’s like removing the sinking part of the Titanic movie.

I didn’t even bother checking that out, neither the cast nor the story grabs me. I’m a sageuk fan, but sageuk nowadays are just nothing compared to the sageuks from 2000s-early 2010s.
