Scarlet Heart Ryeo is so poorly written with terrible plots and editing and not to mention a list of very frustrating…
I feel like a longer drama with 24-30 episodes would have made this show a lot better. Plotwise, I think Arang and the Magistrate is the best sageuk of Lee Junki but his acting in Moon Lovers is really great.
TBH, Scarlet Heart shouldn't get a second season, if it's another story fixating on secondary characters. Not…
Since Moon Lovers is done it should be done already. If only while they were still doing the drama they could have added some episodes/scenes to explain the time jumps and some random events suddenly happening. And also add a bit in the ending to comfort the viewers of the separated main couple (I read somewhere they were suppose to film Wang So giving a handkerchief to Haesoo), then that is final. No second season is needed since the story has a conclusion but they should have added some episodes/scenes before they aired the drama to make it better. But since the drama's been finished editing, it should be left that way. I'm so happy for Arthdal Season2 announcement. This is the one that needed a second season, season 1 ended without the story even being close to the climax. There's so much to explore regarding drama's story plus they need a conclusion, which the first season never gave.
Thank goodness it was confirmed. This is actually the one that really needed a season 2 because the story is just unfinished. I've seen both Moon Lovers and Vincenzo and I don't think they need a second season because their stories have a conclusion (even though Moon Lovers story's end is sad, but you have an ending already). I do think for Moon Lovers they should have had more than 20 episodes to make a more complete story when they were making it (by this I mean add some parts in the middle of the drama as well as a few tidbits more at the end). But since it's done, they should leave it as it is.
i dont know about the others but if i'm not mistaken, sjk and kjw should be ready back into their roles. i think sjk would have been finished filming his other drama plus movie bogota and kjw should be finished filming her 2022 drama as well.
he's been snatchedt. at least a nomination could do. but zero... zero recognition from award shows.
I felt in general his nominated roles in baeksang (DOTS, Vincenzo) aren't the ones that showed his acting talents. For me, he deserves a nomination for Innocent Man and Arthdal Chronicles more. Especially Arthdal Chronicles.
It's a really good historical drama. Very solid plot and interesting characters. I thought at first Garyung was less interesting than the other lead characters, but she proved herself as a strong character when she was at the palace and when she chose to die rather than be rescued by her husband to save others. Yoon Kyun Sang is amazing here. I hope he becomes more known by people as I think he's a really solid actor. Now he's adding in to my excitement to see Six Flying Dragons 9only seen clips of the drama before).
theater actress Kim So Hyun (not the same one as Kim So Hyun of Love Alarm and River Where the Moon Rises). I've never seen her dramas but I know her since I listened to her singing songs for Phantom of the Opera.
It was really enjoyable. Yeo Jin Goo was amazing in differentiating his acting for the real king vs the clown vs the clown playing the king. I love Lee Se Young's subtle performance too, she's really fit playing royal women as seen in both here and the Red Sleeve. Kim Sang Kyung and the actors for the villains are also enjoyable. I think some people who were drawn to watching the drama because of Jin Goo's double role might be disappointed since the real king died in episode 7, but the plot of the drama plus the acting of the actors should be a good reason enough to continue.
I'm honestly not a hardcore shipper (because I cant choose between Saya or Eunseom). Like you, I believe Eunseom…
who knows what will happen though, we don't have enough information. i'm basing my thoughts in previous historical dramas I watched (those from around late 2000s, the OTP sometimes actually marry other people). one thing i'm sure though is that Tanya will never love Saya
Among all the drama airing in feb, this is not so hyped but i am sure it will be a masterpiece.
many CLOY fans will watch this drama for Son Ye Jin, while it will not get CLOY level hype, I'm sure people will stay tune to this one. It's up to the drama's plot and cast's acting if people will remain interested.
It's weird that I only watch five 2021 kdramas and all the 3 main leads here are in them. Not to mention their kdramas are all very successful and have high ratings last year.
i'm watching via mozilla firefox, it was playing the first few episodes then the later episodes doesn't play anymore. however, dramacool was working in mozilla firefox (dramacool wasn't working in google chrome for me). so i guess it just really depends. i don't know how vpn works though.
