I'm not really sure about the completely accurate timeline but it's going in two timelines one before hidden love and one in btw hidden love for example they show sang yan's highschool days in starting of each episode and later we come in present time when hidden love was also going on like there's a scene where sang yan's sister tells him she's going to yihe (as this happened in hidden love too).
