I dont think mom's advice is a generic complaint but an attempt to peel him off Jae In specifically... bc Mom thinks that Jae In doesnt love her son - Mom already asked JI and JI confirmed - so imo Mom is trying to prevent her son from a heartbreak,
BUT Jae In loves him and reacts to him as a man :) She got all flustery when he was bandaging her, before in the kitchen.... etc... I am not sure why Mom cannot see that or why Doctor cannot see that :) Jae In canot see i because his love is so natural to her and she is not aware how much she loves him already. Gi Chan is :) he was so jealous when he saw them sitting together at that meeting at YL...

the mom fell apart bc she is inherently not a bad person - her mind "broke" from overload of remorse when she realized she hated, persecuted and killed the wrong person... she really felt so bad... remember how depressed she was, didnt know what day it was... ... then .. finding about SW ... yeah on top of losing everything and living in a tiny room... mom is just not strong enough to handle all that and her mind just ... broke

We can be 10000% sure that SR will cheat, in any situation, anywhere. She is mentally damaged, even back in high school, she was a brazen ruthless cruel cold criminal

I think she was saying that to pull him away from specifically Jae In. I think because she thinks that JI doesnt love him. She tested JI and told her she wanted her to marry Doctor, and Jae In said no thanks, so I think future MIL is just trying to save her son from heartbreak

Jae in is still grieving her son and also her long marriage so it will take her a while to catch onto the fact she IS in love with Doctor :) she reacts to him in many ways.... but so far they did not react AT THE SAME TIME so they didnt have to face it yet... but that will happen soon :)

I agree with everything you said except JI living there. I think her presence is healing. The little orphaned girl has a mom and JI has a child, and also the granma has company and Dr had a chance to SOLID fall in love, I mean CEMENTED SOLID. His heart is awake now and that is Jae In's gift to him. He recovered from grief and bitterness from his sister!!!! She loves him too, there were scenes where she is smitten by him, like when he bandaged her etc. It started when he grabbed her hand to run out of he hospital. She did notice that handsome man who helps her :)

It is just that so far they did not SIMULTANEOUSLY react to each other but one day ... they will LOL bc they live together and both are healing... she has more healing to do since she lost a child and husband, so that is why HE is faster in reacting to her, he is already more "whole" again, but ... she is gonna be there soon too :) and it is going to be wonderful bc their relationship is really solid and positive and deep, they just "fit". It is sloooowly developing and their bond is really really really nice.

So overall, I believe that house *is* Jae In's place. Lets move from revenge and pride into forgiveness. I think Jae In's new MIL described it well. Jae In brightened their house.

after seeing Se Ri's young self, it is clear, she has been wired as mentally off for a very long time, perhaps inherently, and it seems unchangeable. I am not sure if there is a way to curb her except to lock her up for life. Something is wrong with her and she has ZERO conscience. I would like to hear your view, because I am interested to hear how different people think and perhaps I will learn something from what you say. I also think it is helpful for drama makers to hear audience feedback. Maybe they didnt think about what you saw. I think there is also misunderstanding, bc what I was talking about is not reasoning.
