I think Dr. Dumb is not that for a while now... He is a guy deeply in love and really supporting his lady. He is quite smart, loyal, and helpful ...

As for chemistry - that is a feeling that two people like each other and feel attracted and drawn to each other, it is the MAGNETIC PULL you feel between two people while they are going about their daily life, where you say AHA THESE TWO ARE A PAIR! Like the brewery worker discovered Baldy and MsGo, because he was trying to help her and eat her watermellon.
Chemistry in a drama has NOTHING to do with bed scenes and it should be that way, we dont want to see them in their private moments, it is like watching ppl on the toilet, TMI, WE DO NOT NEED TO KNOW!!!!!!
But chemistry does involve a pull towards the other and enthusiasm about them, like Baldy helping with the watermellon of his darling - he was sitting next to her and teasing her with the watermellon.
THere are lots of ways chemistry expresses - how they look or glance at each other, smile, ask how many spoons of sugar into the coffee, help carry something, give a pecking kiss, or hug, hold their hand, RUN OUT! to greet them, or whatever...
THIS FEELING OF ENTHUSIASM FOR THE OTHER

So .... Chairman and CEO Ma are ... well... he tries but has no fire in him, and she behaves like a polite high school stydent who is flattered that this guy likes her BUT DOES NOT FEEL ANYTHING FOR HIM. Their love is boring boring boring. There is nothing ... romantic about them. It is like a daddy and his little girl.

Beom and Se Ri are even worse. It feels like a grandpa and his admiring student. He is completely lifeless boring around her. I do not see that he even likes her. She tries a little bit around him but it is sooo lame and soooo little. They do NOT feel like a couple at all.

CS and Mi Soo are also a boring fuddy duddy couple and feel like good friends, not a couple. They behave like two seniors too.

Dancer grabbed the hairdresser and that is the most romantic of them all :) and I love love love the bedding on her bed, so beautiful and lovely! But generally, I dont feel much there. He is totally cold. He can dance for sure! but he cannot really act so he is so stiff around her,

So yeah to show a great love, there has to be more. So far, all "love pairs" we saw are more like kindergarden love or friendship. There is no "magnetic force" between any of the couples, really.

I think Bom shows most chemistry actually; I realized also what makes her so boring - she keeps her mouth closed as she speaks. She puckers the lips and speaks with moth barely opening. But I can FEEL her being pulled to Kang Su

Chairman tried flirting with GS in hospital, that was nice, but she was so distant. and although he tries to court her, I dont feel chemistry, he is too polite and distant and she is just ... lacking ANY enthusiasm for him.

I see that GS actress likes Kang Su actor, and Beom Su actor likes GS actress. If you want to see chemistry, watch THOSE pairs :) their eyes sparkle and get focused and there is this smile and this magnetic pull towards the other person.

That nasty old granma is right, CEO Ma is inadequate bc of her brash crude social skills. She WILL embarrass the Chairman and ruin his corporate image bc she gets in hair pulling fights etc in public, Just that little episode where she calls him OPPA in public space while he is with some old lady and is even GIVING HER SIGNALS!!!! and she is so dumb she doesnt get it, is a terrible terrible terrible thing. CEO Ma is just not someone fit to be the wife of a public figure. She is ... cheap.

Honey pie, they could have lived in the USA for 100 years and not be eligible for scholarships.... There is citizenship requirement, etc. It is NOT easy to get a scholarship for undergraduate degree.

Honey pie, the Americans themselves constantly complain about college costs :) and STUDENT LOANS are a big deal too.... Huge, ever present topics... The undergrad degree will not have much scholarships....

Exactly. The script makes FL and her daugher look like mentally handicapped people. It is just abnormal. Kdramas need to figure out better script, not always making script out of female dumbness

@Berd I think you are accusing me of things I never said.... WHERE did you get the idea that we are all mad her for trying everything she can.... ???? WHo said that and where??? She SHOULD try everything she can. We are not mad at her for trying. How could you just assume things that make no sense....

We are annoyed at her for FORGETTING what happened to her and what that world is like. No matter how poor the lawyer was, he did what he did to enter that world .... and it is clear THAT WORLD OPERATES LIKE THAT. The lawyer is in that world and that is how he operates, and he TOLD her that too as a successful lawyer working as a henchman against her.

So, so much of the plot is made by the script making the FL as a total and complete dumbo who has no memory and no brains. That is really annoying. OK this drama just started so lets see where she grows up

Ok so I have some ideas about this drama. THe music just is no good. It doesnt match. It is too .. hyper all the time... it just takes away from the scenes.
Mi So is .. well... stupid. Behaves like 5 yr old. OK maybe 8 yr old.
Her mother too is over the top. She KNOWS what those ppl do, she ended up on the floor bleeding pregnant, and she is still ... as naive as a child would be. Pathetic plot.
And other "good people" - calling the killer to tell him you gonna tell on him... ??? WHO in their sane mind does anything like that... ? OK lets saythere ARE people like that and they all happened to be in this kdrama

So the script has to be better, also acting, and also, music and camera. I am not a professional so I cannot diagnose what is wrong with the camera work, but I just know that the scenes are choppy and it doesnt flow. For example the hysterical music and hysterical Mi So saying REALLY stupid things for a teenager, and acting out, it is just too much.... And somehow the scenes themselves are not quite right. The acting, I think, is a part of it.

The story is ok and has a lot of potential but it has to be PRESENTED

I agree with imangla. That dude does not want to know. He could care less. He wants to become THE ONLY GUY in the Min family who can inherit the company. Someone said he has a revenge - I did not see where and how, imo he just wants to become rich. He wont stand still for a second to pay attention to Mi So, he is in a rush to move forward to the top

That would be HILARIOUS with her loud mouth and cheap manners and in those XXXL sweatpants and XXXXXL shirt.... LMAO she would have to do a total fashion and character rehaul to appeal to a man who has kids with crafty bar hostesses and such... She is pretty has nice hair and lips so it is possible ... without plastic surgery LOL Just with some nice clothes and quiet attitude... Would she do that... ? Hm the bodybuilder guy who flew into Korea... he is too young for her? He likes Se Ri...???
