Yes of course, you are correct. Introducing someone to YOUR fantasy world requires "showing it". And in that fantasy world, you can have anything YOU wanted. But the audience also contributes with their imagination as they also see what you dont see. And even the wildest fantasies have rules :) Definitely :) I was just saying the rules are quite flexible. I never intended to say there are no rules or no structure :) I was saying that the best script leaves things unsaid so that the audience will discover it :) Also the script messes with our preconceived ideas and habits LOL Sci Fi is wonderful that way

I thought the restaurant thing was a private suite for big parties, for example after work company drinking or business meetings. I wondered wh it is not one of those private suites with closed doors, why glass, but then it is better BECAUSE it is their first date and too much dark romantic private would just make her RUN for her life. So a big business oriented restaurant was great.

Mr Dokgo surprised me... how he stood up for his daughter. Honestly!!! I really did not expect him to show that much care and interest. When he said "that is my precious daughter" thing, I almost fell out of my chair in surprise. Wow daddy! So at that point I was willing to forgive him for barging in. He really wanted his daughter.

I am also taken aback by Chairman's old fashioned male pushing "I will take care of you just sit and watch" bc it is 21st century and she cannot be just sitting and watching, they have to do this together. But I do not think he is using people or crossing them off his list. I think he is BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS and trying to BECOME ONE OF THE FAMILY. He is just old fashioned and also a Top Dog so that is his style, to get things going and done.
THat buldozing power is his strong point, that got CEO Ma that USA contract, and got her out of Silla woes, etc. and also, won CEO Ma, .... so ... his ability to get things done is his weakness and his strong point...

SO TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT, he will always have traits of a Big Leader. Having him is like having a pet ... elephant? I dont know how to describe him better. He is very good natured but he is huge and powerful and in charge :)

And yeah the friend speaking about his friend Chairman is normal :) He is advertising his friend :) that is what friends do for each other... I think it would be SUPER STRANGE if the friend did not say anything positive about Chairman... If I were CEO Ma and his friend did not advertise him to me, I would conclude that I am not important to Chairman to the point where he mentioned me to his friends, and I would wonder if Chairman really cares for me.

I am totally Chairman style, if I like someone, I am gonna jump into their family and friends and take root there, I want to know everything about my love interest so I want to know his friends and family, and also I expect them to get close and comfortable with mine. BAsically, meshing two worlds together. Even when it is the first date. I want all my friends to "test" the dude. In the worst case, we know who to avoid LOL and maybe even get a few business connections. In the best case, we get a super successful larger group to draw upon. In any case, the love interest has to go this "background and security check."

So I would say, be less sensitive and offended, and more broad. This is not politics, this is love.
