There are SOME good communications :) Consistently, ML and FL in Love Scout..... That's why that drama has 9.8 rating on Viki..... Chairman in "For Eagle Brothers".... FL and human Imugi in Haunted Palace.....
Surprisingly, ML and FL in later episodes of My Dearest Nemesis, and in Potato Lab at the end of ep 11 and then ep 12....
ML and sometimes FL lol, Teacher and JinJu, even Golfer and Teacher in Five Enough..... Young Cheri and Loser in ALl About my Mother, etc. I can probably think of more but these are on top of my head right now.

Summary: Actor's voices for ML and FL and also 2nd ML are whispers, barely uttered, in a tone of voice that is FLAT and LACKS energy. it is so.... terrible to listen to the audio of this kdrama. Then the video - for very long time you are watching faces that are poker faces, again closed, remote, and SUCKING ENERGY OUT OF YOU. PPl do not talk. They stare at each other and then miscommunicate.

IT TAKES ENERGY TO WATCH THIS KDRAMA. THAT IS WHY PPL DROP IT. IT IS A BLACK HOLE THAT SUCKS YOU IN AND STEALS YOUR ENERGY,

I think the trashy dramatic dramas that people love to hate to watch are also trash but the acting is energetic and evokes EMOTIONS in you, a whole range, and a lot of live emotions of anger, etc, so that's why people watch such trash. It allows you to EXPERIENCE a whole slew of emotions.
However, this drama is a particular lifeless trash that sucks energy out of you as the audience bc you NEVER get to experience a range of emotions. You are just STUCK IN A BOX THAT NEVER OPENS. So you feel drained and frustrated to watch. The drama demands that YOU give attention to the drama, rather than the drama "entertaining" you, educating you, GIVING you something.

THIS DRAMA JUST TAKES. The FL character is one of the problems, she is set as a princess whom everyone admires and chases although she is LIMP. Like a piece of poop in the south wind.... she is LIMP AND LIFELESS and ... slimey. You as the audience are forced to watch a fish out of water gasping with open mouth, for too long, and you are supposed to admire her, but there is absolutely NOTHING to admire. FL character is a liveless little scared naive girl. That is not sexy. And the ML character is not sexy. He is just a control freak and someone very closed up. THERE IS NO GIVING ANYWHERE AND THERE IS NO GROWTH.

THEREFORE, THE WHOLE DRAMA IS **** DEAD ***** THIS IS A WILTED FLOWER. NOT A BLOOMING FLOWER. IT STINKS TO WATCH THAT.

I dropped this TOXIC kdrama after ep 8 and then later fast forwarded tru 9,10,11 just to check if the drama took a typical kdrama "surprise!!!!" U-turn and came to life. NOPE IT DID NOT. It is still dead. ML AND FL IN EP 11 ARE THE SAME PPL THEY WERE IN EP 1. THEY DID NOT CHANGE AND GROW AT ALL.
A new person shows up on Ep 11 and that dude is alive, healthy, communicative, straight forward, honest dude. He brought a little fresh air into the drama. Also, the actor is very beautiful and has very sharp piercing sparkley eyes that give attention, so he definitely put in a breath of fresh air into this kdrama. He is the only "lead role" that is alive. The drama gets all its energy by having lively small roles of friends and family.

THE REST IS DEAD. **** DEAD ***** DEAD ***** DEAD ******* The ML, FL, 2nd ML, are all **** LIFELESS *****
I just added this to my review BC NOW I UNDERSTAND HOW THE BAD SCRIPT AND BAD FILMING REQUIRING BAD ACTING RUINED IT. If you just LISTEN to the audio of this kdrama in those episodes, it will be instantly clear.

Bc the script is super poor and has no action nor plot, the dramamakers create action by (super boring) long holding scenes where nothing happens except staring at each other. They are trying to copy Ingmar Bergman kinda LOL but it is a lot worse bc Mr. Bergman tries to capture a whole slew of fine emotions of egotism while this kdrama shows only anxiety/fear and sometimes a smile from FL and bossy, cold, remote and sometimes smile from ML. ML and FL characters are super immature and flat.

The script is lazy and lacks energy. Most scenes are the ML and FL or whoever just STARING at each other for VERY long time with some gloomy music, and then ML AND FL FOR SURE SPEAK IN THESE LOW ENERGY DEAD-HORSE WHISPERING and ****FLAT LIFELESS BORING VOICES****** They sound totally pathetic. It takes energy from the audience to listen to that. It is so..... DEADLY. It kills ya.

******As the audience, you instinctively feel repulsed and want out. You dont want your energy sucked out of you, by being forced to GIVE ENERGY to the actors. ***** THIS DRAMA FORCES YOU TO GIVE ENERGY TO THE ACTORS and then you feel dead after watching this.

THE CONVERSATIONS, ESP BETWEEN ML AND FL, ARE LIKE THEY ARE SITTING ON THE TOILET WITH SOME MAJOR CONSTIPATION AND MINCING A FEW WORDS HERE AND THERE BARELY ABLE TO SPEAK!!!!!! THEY NEVER COMMUNICATE!!!!! the best that the ML can do to communicate is to grab her for the arm or to yell at her !!!!!!

and FL tries to look cute and sexy by looking totally zombied out absent, anxious, and scared, with her lips slightly open, not able to talk, and if she does talk sometimes, she says a few scared words in that whisper without any energy it in.
**** YOU AS THE AUDIENCE CAN FEEL YOUR ENERGY BEING DRAINED BY WATCHING THAT *****

But I think it is ok to NOT have the time skip because it would be really fun to see HOW they got through that time we want skipped :) Some time skip is ok, for example a week, a month, etc but not toooooo much. For example. I want to see how 4 brothers live there and what will come out of that, and then on to op of it Mr Go Ms Ko romance plus Chairman hunting CEO Ma.
CEO Ma has awoken hormones since she found romance at the age of 40 for the first time and then had 10 days of sex. So it can take just a little bit of time for her to break through her NO to the Chairman, and she already ADMITTED to his face that she was excited etc. and that she needed just a month. She is ready and ripe. All that fanning cannot go on forever :) She is about ready to pounce on the Chairman. By the time her house situation with 4 brothers moving in and her finances with the scandal all settle, she will jump on the Chairman. SO NO I DO NOT WANT A TIME SKIP.

Se Ri is not dumb so she could start real fast somewhere. And it would be SUPER FUN to see how a mama girl gets to fly on her own. I am curious HOW she is gonna pull it off.... The Professor already fell for her, I saw it 2 weeks ago when she came to visit him on that bench.... The Professor is waiting for ... exactly what... ? But yeah Seri needs to change schools :) for sure :)

It would also be fun to see how her parents deal with their crimes in their face.

It would be fun to see how CEO Ma navigates a full house of guys who are being claimed by their women - they might move out as soon as they moved in LOL

and how the Chairman fits into the Eagle family. He will HAVE TO somehow blend in with them, so now is a perfect time :) all of them there and he hunting CEO Ma.

CEO Ma will have to work on asking her late husband for permission etc

SO yeah, no time skip, I want to see HOW THEY ARE GONNA WORK THROUGH ALL THE ISSUES!!!!

Now all 4 brothers together should stirr up some dirts... For example... Soldier birth.. ??

And yeah how will Soldier and Bom get together, in this whole mess, .... is a very good qyestion :)

LETS SEE HOW THIS WILL EVOLVE! we dont need to see every detail but we do need to see the PROCESS of their character growth and developing relationships so yeah some time skip is ok, but I dont think I want a huge time skip

So which Eagle will stay living at the brewery house, when CEO Ma moves to live with the Chairman... ? Probably 2nd and Mi Sun since he works there and she works nearby and her apartment is probably too small. Dancer will go to live witht he Hairdresser, and Professor and Se Ri ... hm... WHAT IF Se Ri starts working at the brewery LOL but no.... I think she might take over Silla... ? hm... no..... where will her dad go.. ? to jail? LOL

Hmmmm... are you sure? Eagle Family are NOT perfect by any means... What kind of life do you live when you say they are saints... ?
They are "normal" good people who didnt rob or steal but have done lots of DUMB stuff... for example, 2nd son having wife in the USA for 10 years and expecting to "be" with her... Or the Dancer mess... Or the Professor's hidden hot unmarried gfriend that just LEFT the baby and him... Or the Mom who played so many dirty games on Gwan Suk... Or the Soldier who was working with sick ear for so long and is so shy he cannot talk to anyone... Or the 1st son who ran the brewery in the red... Etc etc etc

Yeah. I like quality. As far as Netflix, I dont like it. I like stuff before Netflix. Netflix makes it too commercial and americanized and that loses the charm and the content

And excuse me... shouldnt the vctims TAKE 10 million dollars AND ALSO make sure the criminal is punished... ? but only the criminal, not the daughter.... Well the daughter is guilty for being a stupid naive little girl Princess but that can be destroyed pretty fast bc the Princes is as fragile as Princess On the Pea and would be destroyed with the smallest feather...

AND if the doctor is smart, he would know that the evil mother doesnt care for the daughter anyways LOL so destroying the daugher will NOT DO ANYTHING to the mother... Wow the doctor is suuuuuper dumb.

This script is just not creative and talks about dumbest of the dumbest. NOBODY IN THIS KDRAMA COMMUNICATES PROPERLY

Wow what a dumbo, with a medical degree.... And the Princess does not want to communicate, and lies openly, to everyone... EVEN THE SMALL KID LIES TO HIS OWN MOTHER.... ... Ah what losers. but something is seriously wrong with the script, chairmans wife should have gotten them followed to a hotel or something, to have evidence of 2 people in bed, instead of making conclusions on sitting around a table and one bracelet... and forgetting she saw the bracelet on TWO WOMEN lol

AND that good old cheap trick, running over a person or throwing a ball at a person, and that person just STANDING THERE not even trying to escape.... wooow...

and, a very advanced corporate officer just ordering BIG SHARKS to appologize LOL without even leaving evidence or a letter somewhere to be found if she is gone. WOW HOW CAN A GROWN WOMAN BE THAT DUMB???

Wow this is like amnesia plot LOL but slightly better LOL The rich ppl and their spies are DUMB and also have the $$$$$ to do harm to others, so. when they make a mistake and kill the wrong person ... OMG.... HOW THE HECK can the Chairman's wife be so stupid? and the Chairman? to fire Mr Do just like that... ???? I think Mr Do didnt want to talk back and cause a problem to himself??

and Catherine (and Cheating Husband) are amazing snakes and that character is worthy watching and learning from, esp for NAIVE DUMB GIRLS like the Chief Worker and The Wife, since so many real ppl ARE pathological liars like that and are ALWAYS around places with money where they can steal. In real life, they will be trying to steal your house, money, job, connections or lover.....

Someone who has assets or deals with assets SHOULD know better to be more careful. The Princess dressed always in pink is an an epitomy of SHEER DUMBNESS

And if such people with assets do not watch their own back then we have 100 episodes drama... wooowww... How horrible

If kdramas want to look more like stupidly brainless without-any-content silly stupid overreactive Holywood shows so that Koreans can rake in some serious $$$$$ then at one point there wont be any reason to watch kdramas anymore.

The big western companies are trying to ruin Korean diet and make ppl eat flour and that is super bad for Korean people and Korean culture, it will be causing major health problems just like the West has

This show attempts to redo kdrama "Oh My Venus" and had some potential but totally flopped it, imo. THe show is made "hollywood style" of being silly, overreacting, meaningless dialogue, screaming, just acting stupidly silly. As a kdrama by default is different than brainless Holywood show, this kdrama has some lucid moments like telling the mom to take care of self, or flour addiction. HOWEVER THE SCRIPT IS HOPELESS, the ML is a dumb oblivious Nazi yelling idiot who scares people with exercise and should train David of Asia competitors for Las Vegas, and FL who is genuinely DUMB SCREAMING LOSER and practically everything she does is STUPID. This kdrama is not about fat shaming but about promiting super expensive, unnatural, artificial bodybuilder culture, being on a diet non stop and eating protein bars instead of real food.

I WANT TO SEE OLD KDRAMAS WHERE THERE IS PLENTY OF HOMEMADE FOOD AND SIDE DISHES WITH VEGGIES AND EVERYONE SITS AROUND THE TABLE AND EATS, AND EVERYONE LOOKS SLIM BUT MUSCULAR AND STRONG AND HEALTHY

Imo the new kdramas ARE about fat shaming since the actress are soooo skuny all bones.
I love older kdramas with actresses who have bodies, like "Love Divine" or "Five Enough" 2nd and 3rd FL. They got legs and arms. They are not wall flowers.

The skeleton who was FL in "The real has come", or "Love from another star" etc are just that, SKELETONS
Why is that made popular... ??? Leading to less marriages and less children in S Korea....

wow I watched Five Enough drama from 2016 and wow what a difference from current dramas... Old ones are a LOT better. Have more content, more quality, more warmth, meaning, etc.

Yeah, I love her character there and her story, and her acting :) and I love the golfer LOL and his acting .... and how he fell for her. The main couple has so much baggage and these youngsters were so much more ... honest and innocent..
To me, TaeMin and Elegant Family FL were a match made in hell, he was such a bubblehead to fall for the looks, and hopefully she didnt taint him forever, hopefully he uplifted her, since she was soooo immature and selfish. Ah the Ho Tae and Ballerina Waitress couple..... are ... hm... sad to watch, such proud liars... Why doesnt Ho Tae get a part time job to make enough to support himself wwhile doing the movie...

Five Enough is 2016 kdrama with ML in a very very similar role. Wow that is an amazing kdrama!!! a real masterpiece!!! the FL actress is so competent, she get lots of "full screen" time of her face, and there is Mr. Queen actress in there, with her comical facial expression, and Elegant Family FL and very competent actrors for FL mother and father and in-laws and the golfer, and even TaeMin. Acting is just so great and characters are so convincing and alive. To be honest, the ML is one of the worst actors in that drama LOL
THe music is amazing.

Five Enough is a very very excellent kdrama.

Overall, why arent kdramas as good as they used to be? I started watching with covid in 2020 :) and all weekend dramas were mediocre and some just plain boring and lifeless all along UNTIL Iron Family (just before For Eagle Brothers) and For Eagle Brothers . Check out OST from Iron Family. TO me Iron Family ending ruined it since the son tried to appease his evil mother at the end and ditched his love. FL was soooo cute and pretty and was most amazing as a blind person

I AM GLAD WE GOT FOR EAGLE BROTHERS NOW and I hope we are on the up streak now :)
