Well ML righteous naive state and FL sarcastic negative depressing insecure naive state is ok as the starting point. But then the story should show them outgrow it. AND IT DID NOT. It is time for ep 9 and there was no change. IT IS FRUSTRATING

I totally love this kdrama and ***I*** am getting really pissed off for the slugish stagnation in a deep dark hole where FL and ML are two brainless dumbo losers. I want to see them outgrow it and it JUST NEVER COMES. I think this lovely kdrama is ruined with bad script.

The Chef actor is MASTERFUL in acting the villain. Totally scary. It is subtle and totally scary. The script helps him, for example the detail when he beats the horse or tells Ma Chang that there must be no progress. But his acting as a villain is amazing. he is 100% heartless cruelty and lies.

The Cheff is not about pristine perfect image The Chef is about POWER AND MONEY AND CONTROL. he is a reptile :) He is a greedy cruel monster.

but I think this idol can act. I have seen a mixed bag of models and idols. Some look good but cannot act. Some CAN. I am thinking Eric Moon from Shinhwa and now the Shinhwa guy who is in kdrama "For Eagle Brothers"

YES TOTALLY. I agree with you. Its the end of episode 8 and there is absolutely no movement except that, Heo knows that Chef is the bad guy and doesnt trust him anymore. OK that much happened. But he doesnt communicate that to the Lady Owner or Actress. So what's the point... ????? I THINK THE SCRIPT WRITER DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DO IT.

The problem are ML and FL characters. They are too simple, they are simpletons.

I like this drama so much and even I am getting impatient. It is the end of episode 8 out of 10 episodes and the stupid loser FL is STILl calling the ML "Mr. Homeless" in public and putting him down and bowing down and kissing ass of any "rich and famous" or any "authority" person and just eating poison out of the hand of the slithering snake. And ML is still as naive as he was 500 yrs ago in Joseon, blindly trusting any adult out there. SPEED IT UP. If there is growth to show, show it. If not, pack up your writing stick and LEAVE. Dont be ruining this lovely kdrama!!!!!!!!!!!! It was ok in the beginning to show them as that. But they should have startted to outgrow it already.

Also, these "magical moments" where people get transformed magically are just lazy writing. A good writer makes the change come from the inside.
IT IS JUST A SUPER BAD SCRIPT.

And FYI to the script writer: the 100 episode soapy soaps for housewives is the proper audience for trash SEXIST script with a female loser FL character like this. This kdrama is not a real thing anymore, it is a soapy soap of a disfunctional loser dumb FL character and unfortunately also a dumb ML character. IT IS TOO MUCH LIKE REAL LIFE AND WITHOUT ANY SOLUTION. Why waste time like that???

IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT A SOLUTION CAN BE THEN YOU SHOULD NOT BE WRITING KDRAMA SCRIPTS. GO WORK FOR HOLLYWOOD WHERE TRASHY MEANINGLESS TRASH IS THE NORM. KDRAMAS ARE KNOWN FOR CONTENT. LEARN TO WRITE BETTER.

I am super frustrated to watch a very very very nice kdrama just go to hell bc the writer doesnt know how to write a script that shows MOVEMENT. For 8 episodes now we are stuck in the black hole. GET US OUT OF THERE. ASAP.

Ah, if the soapy soap kdramas for housewives do not want this, you might have some luck writing cdramas or jdramas bc they are often trashy super soapy content with really dumb female characters and this kind of soapy soap trash COULD sell there. But if you want to write kdramas, then you are totally below par. Pack up and learn to write first.

it is too much suffering for the audience to watch EIGHT EPISODES of the ML and FL not communicating clearly and doing really stupid rash things without any common sense and without checking anything, just blind quarreling without ANY substance and communication, only negativity and naivete and stupidity, and ON TOP OF IT, blindly trusting the reptile. ML and FL are dumb losers so really - cut it short. Show fewer episodes of their loser state and more episodes of HOW THEY OUTGREW IT. Or else you killed a perfectly nice kdrama and you get super low reviews and people drop out. DO NOT TORTURE THE AUDIENCE.

Kdramas are KNOWN for sexism and super loser female leads, and this modern one is even worse than older ones. She is SO dumb, insecure, and such a NEGATIVE person that it is just too much to watch. A loser to the max. "sorry to inconvenience you but can I beg you to buy our diner" said apologetically. Grow up, young lady. And for the script writer - DO WE have to watch 7 episodes of this so far???? SPEED IT UP IF YOU ARE GOING TO SHOW PROGRESS IN HER CHARACTER. AND IF NOT THEN WE WONT WATCH THIS TRASH

I understand what is frustrating. It is ep. 7 and FL is still the same dirty, not-showered, dirty clothes, dirty hair, all down, super snide and depressive comments. She asks WHY she should take a video of the actress eating so well in their diner and scoffs at "diner VIP" work. She is REALLY DUMB AND NEGATIVE. *** and that is very painful to watch***

She is super insecure and the villain was nice to her. So she trusts him. She IS dumb

I understand what is frustrating. It is episode 7 out of 10 and ML is INSIDE the snake pit, getting drunk with the slimey reptile, and STILL trusts him unconditionally. AND, FL still calls him Mr. Homeless... and she too blindly trusts the reptile bc she is super insecure and the reptile was nice to her. It is just NOT FUN TO WATCH DUMBNESS. I hope ML and FL grow up super fast. There is no time anymore.

I feel that ML FL sweet lovely romance is what we see typically in high school dramas, it has that quality of heart opening, vulnerability, and exploring something new. Very heartfelt and genuine and HONEST. They are not playing any games.. Well he was first "oh no, I cant ..." but then he goes along if she asks him again :) By the end he felt so comfortable to be all around her room and to call her a friend in public... . It was such a sweet transformation from a shy reserved bboy to a prancy lively relaxed and comfortable boy who gets into courting action ....

Very often I looked at the Chairman and I could see a young teenage boy just starting his life as an adult... very fresh and sweet and lovely! But also you could see a shrewed adult male who knew what he wanted and made sure it happened - grant him one wish LOL Ms. Ma on the other hand is the hot one, jumping on bed with her legs open and lounging around on her side hugging the fuzzy blanket thinking the Chairman is cute LOL I predict that he will be like a mouse under the cat's nose and will be teasing her... until SHE jumps on him :) Actually, I dont know who is gonna jump first. Chairman is defrosting at a great speed so his hormones are going to wake up very soon.

That scene of sharing the earplugs and listening to music on a bench are classical high school drama scenes... she is sitting on the bench, he comes and sits VERY CLOSE to her and she lets him, and they listen to music and each grabs one earphone.... or reading comics together... or visiting each other's room and then going back... SO LET US NOT THINK THAT ONLY 20 and 30 yr OLD CONFUSED HORMONE DRIVEN ROMANCE IS THE ONLY WAY TO ROMANCE lol There are plenty dramas for 20 and 30 yr olds out there and those are more hot steamy confused dramatic anxious power struggle pride and games. But they are NOT the only love stories out there.

ML FL are very fresh and also mature adults so there is that high school sweetness quality but without anxiety and rush, and with knowing what is next and slowly going for it. They are a great example of a loving relationship. He is such a clever hunter. Once he figured out he liked her, he just went for it, in a very very very nice and genuine way, he never overpowered her.

Same for Second Brother and Mi Su, He was jumping up to shower her with flower petals. That is also a scene from a high school romance, isnt it? That is what makes it so fresh and lovely.

I also feel that the Entertainment/Beauty couple's romance is also at the level of middle school :) and they are cute too. She is so nice to him. Both are so immature. But they will click well together. They will be the grandma and grandpa on a motorcycle in funky clothes and sunglasses... They will be the one entertaining the kids and giving most outrageous and fun gifts... So do NOT write them out :)

I think Chaurman's Daughter and Soldier Brother cannot happen until she gets a body. Right now she is a STICK, a walking broomstick. THere is no muscle nor energy in her. Kiss her and she is gonna faint of exhaustion. I doubt she has energy to even think of kissing him. She looks like she eats 100 calories per day and never ever ever ever does any exercise. She has no energy to even speak!!! nor speak loudly. SHE IS A QUIET BROOMSTICK. Therefore, she is not a woman but something genderless therefore .. no romance is possible. The soldier dude is athletic and he needs a matching lady that can run with him. I THINK THEIR RELATIONSHIP HAS A CHANCE ONLY IF HE TAKES HER TO THE GYM WITH HIM or she starts dancing with the Zumba Brother, or runing with Beom or a friend, or something like that.

Our Pretty Puppy Se Ri is also not a woman. She is dressed in nice mini skirts and shows her cleavage and bare legs, but .... it is not working inside. She is not capable of jumping on someone because her insides are of a child, however, her body is developed enough so that she WILL figure out and let her attraction led her a lot faster than Bom can.

And our dear Gyeol is ... already taken :) by that doctor. We all agree :) But I am not sure. The doctor is quite flat skinny and rather ... ugly :) and overly cold and professional. But... lets see. At least HE looks good in that brown suit. And I dont see he loves Se Ri, he cannot read Se Ri at all. He is completely oblivious to her behavioral signs. He is completely oblivious to her not smiling at him. Like a robot. he doesnt love her. I am not sure what she was to him - someone nice and pretty to call from military when he was lonely?

Honey, life is long and slow... and it takes time to resolve issues and change :) Get used to it :) Daily life is not a thriller :)
