Someone accused me of "liking" the FL character in drama "Our Golden Days". I do not like her, would not try to be her friend... .... but I dont dislke her., and I respect her, and I will defend her against false accusations LOL
So it made me think - which FL or female character HAVE I liked in all kdramas I have seen? Not too many!!!

But the FL lead from this drama, I like. She is someone I could be friends with. I think she is a compassionate and wise person, and I like how she communicates and keeps trying to make her life better and to make her dreams come true.

I think the FL actress is just amazing - an amazing comedian and actress, and also soooo sneaky, bringing different sides of FL slowly out of the closet.
The drama starts by showing FL as a very clutz loser ....
and then we get to see her deeper self and her wisdom, drive, patience, perserverance, and honesty .... and smarts and expertise.

Imo the TRUE glow up of FL is the scene where she REPEATS the text of a drama from 20 years ago straight to the faces of the 2 villains. That is extreme competence... to remember those lines, to pick the lines that are EXACTLY applicable, and to say them as if acting with sincere conviction and also looking as acting... FL IS ONE SMART COOKIE and a master in her profession!!!! I bow to the master!!!

And even a glow up for those who like that kind of stuff, it had to be there. Well it had to be there at SOME point, wearing a draggy skirt over big pants is NOT exactly the way to dress these days and also it must be super uncomfortable and too warm and hard to move . ...
But I dislike the total glowup bc it IMPLIES that her old self was ugly. She wasnt.

I wrote this at the start of ep 7 when FL tells ML she will take care of the dude-with-the-watch. Her acting was AMAZING and also what she was saying was so wise. So I wrote:

O M G FL actress coming out of her camouflage and acting full on... I am IMPRESSED. THat is one awesome amazing actress!!!!

The Detective was cute and I love his scenes but he is not as great magnificent as she is, acting wise. He in fact is phenomenal for close up love dovey scenes. He is not good for acting harsh or worried etc scenes

She is ... wow ... what a range of acting!!!!! and the FL character - she is a very strong and wise woman ...

My comment had nothing to do with her glow up. I am not quite thrilled with her glow up :) It assumes that her old self was ugly. No she wasnt. Those scenes at the start of ep 7 talking about how she will meet the murderer, it is clear she is very pretty, with all that hair :) I think somehow in those scenes she had no bangs? ... and the face didnt look so red... I remember I could see her eyes and she acts so much with her eyes. Also, I remember, she did not have so much mascara and that too made her a lot more beautiful.

I understand whythat actress is EVERY drama wears soooo much heavy black mascara - bc she acts with her eyes and wants them seen... But start of ep 7 the light was on her and mascara was not needed, we COULD see her eyes

This episode has amazing comedy scenes, one of the best is when he falls on her on the sofa and she ROOOOOLS her eyes lol And the scene of dropping beer and running LOL she is hilarious..... She has been using her eyes all through the drama and it makes it sooo funny. Small details that make all the difference... like when she was hiding behind him in front of 2One building... all scared, then he defended her and she looked with that AHA! GOTCHA! look again slightly rolling her eyes..

he is hot and that was clear from ep 1, the way he looks in his clothes - that is why he wears short jackets and tight pants - and also his beautiful face and expressive eyes... The start of ep 4 shows his face and body language in a scene where he "cuddles" with her and expresses his admiration and he is just awesome!!!

I think she was beautiful to begin with and needed just a little bit - no bangs, lightened red cheeks, and less clothes and slinky clothes - that dress is ok...
That long straight hair is ... well... just another Ms. Kim... .
why not keep the flair and that cloud of reddish flame around her face? Her hair looked better than ever before the glowup, didnt look like a heavy wig anymore but was very light and fluffy like real hair, and imo it was pretty - but I am not from the Far East and I tend to like redheads :)

I dont quite like her glow up. She was beautiful as is, I would just get rid of bangs, whiten the red cheeks, and put some slinky tight clothes. Basically her old self just in tight clothing. And the rosey cheeks made lighter. That's it! That's all she needed.

I think they said they cannot bc it was too long ago. And that's why they did the donation thing. And witht he donation thing, they have no more reason to sue SK even if they could, THEY GOT THEIR MONEY BACK

So - who is gonna kill TH first? Killer SR OR jealous GC?

Or maybe GC will die/get sick by mistakenly eating poison meant for TH? like in the preview....?

Jae In was super stupid not to tell TH that GC is after her. So now GC will be after TH...

I like TH. He proved to be a careful and throrough person who does things right. Yeah he is slimey careful etc but he has integrity after all. he is a DIPLOMAT :) and that kind of persona is needed for an art dealer... dealing with fickle immature egoistical customers and artists ...

And, I think he will HAVE to take the kid... he knows GC did bad stuff, he knows SR is bad, ... and both will end up in jail... but.... GiChan was a nice dad and SR was not a bad mom....

so TH is the one to take the kid... but gently.

I didnt like how DY handled it. How he didnt talk kindly to her, how he just threw her meager belongings without any respect. Those are precious NaRa's belongings, everything she owns... ,
Then GC threw it AGAIN. he is a selfish cruel moron. Poor Na Ra between the two male dinosaurs.

I was thinking - was anything damaged or broken? What will NaRa do, dumped by two guys who shoould be helpful but instead, just destroyed all her belongings????
I think DY needs to apologize to her for how he treated her, it was really ... cheap and trashy. I understand he doesnt feel so generous bc SookJa did that, BUT NaRa is a mentally disabled person and a quite innocent person, coming to him to earnestly exress her regrets, and HE AS A DOCTOR if not as a human being, needs to be nicer to her.

DY actor is not good for being nasty. He is good for nice loving scenes only and maybe for some emotional scenes and being upset
but he cannot act being angry and mean

And that's for the better bc DY character is a good person and cannot really be angry or mean either :)

I wonder if GC accidentally ate poison meant for TH

She is cute though, shaking her nice butt in that dark-gray-white pantsuit and high heels. She is defintelly eye candy for the audience
and that covers up for lack of acting skillZ :)

That was the thing that Do Hee found out and lost her life for. My understanding is that it is just like keeping a double cash register ledger - you have one set of income receipts for the tax record, and then another "real" ledger with REAL income you got.
I am not an accountant but I think this must be the case with the contract too. Seems like GC showed one contract to the Old Chairman, and then worked with the company with another contract - or maybe never ever worked with anyone - but I think he would have to work with someone bc someone from YL group would ask for pics etc and maybe even go there... , SO FOR EXAMPLE, the fake contract said they asked YL to give them $1mil for supplies and in real life, they spent $100 on cheap supplies.... and the difference of money went to Catherine's bank acount etc

I dropped it after 20 mins. It is filmed as one huge advertisement - totaly over the top fast flashy fake exaggeration. Like ... a bad american movie :)

On another note, SJ is super healthy and in shape, walking 20 miles per week in the hallways, but does SJ ever have a booty call lover? .....
Hid body language is very peculiar not Korean, always with legs wide open and spread out... like a cowboy from old Westerns..

he is super SMART and figures everything out. THat is why he is scary and dangerous

We dont know that yet but we do know that SJ tried to kill MiSo and indirectly her mom when pregnant so that he can join the rich - was it Mingang back then?
