He just has to accept ANY role they give him bc he gets so few, since Asian actors are very rare in american movies and series. In other words, there is a severe racial discrimination in the USA and it shows in the media and entertainment big time.

LOL Imo that suit shows GC's insecurity and still feeling poor and having to grab money.. It looks like a suit he wore as a poor prosecutor back then...
I think in kdramas the clothing is made to match the character and is important. So I think they dressed GC in such cheap murky colored suits with ugly shirts and ties to show him off better as a villain... to show his confusion and lack of brightness in his life... his lack of vision, his not feeling like a rich man who can get nicely dressed, etc etc. HE IS DRESSED LIKE A CHEAP POOR PROSECUTOR or something like that... he doesnt look the part of a chaebol Chairman. I think his cheap suit is meant to show his INSECURITY and him being stuck in the "poor" mode grabbing for money
Exactly, a perfect successful art dealer :) He deals with fickle egoistical buyers and artists and always has to stay on the safe ground - so he has to be 100000% diplomatic... At first I thought he was slimey cheater liar and matches SeRi well. Later I realized that he does have integrity
Yeah as ppl said, GC is effectivelly the ML in this drama bc he and JI get the most scenes... So GC is now experiencing remorse and that scene with his mom was just amazing. He is deeply regretting - BUT now there is TH as a competitor, plus the kid is not his. So what will GC do now? CAN he act in old ways and try to kill them, or to kidnap JI and keep her captive as his woman?

Gi Chan actor graduated, imo. The scene between him and his mom is AMAZING. Also, his scene in the doctor's office. GC shows genuine deep feeling of remorse

THen later he wore some .. omg sleezy cheap looking light purple brown suit, I have NEVER seen anything so ugly in any kdrama...

GC is a complex psychotic character :) He is very very confused. He grew up in a "loving" family, and "loving" mother taught him that money is everything and committed crimes with him, yet on the other hand pushed the idea of good family, nobility and purity. GC IS MESSED UP FROM THE START... It is normal for him to be delusional...
After thinking about what @TooEmotional said about JiHo, I think a good solution then is that Jae In and DY go on a little business-and-plasure trip to the USA to help TH and JH carry the paintings back to the USA .... :) and thus help JH to make the transition..... and then Jae In and DY can stay in TH house for a week so that they can help JH acclimate ... and then video call occassionally to keep in touch... But JH wil do fine.... TH will have to find him a great nanny though..... .... TH seems to travel a lot to buy and sell the art... Perhaps he can take JH with him out of school season.. but during school... JH needs someone steady at home.

Gi Man did bad stuff but he wasnt a mean evil person, just a spoiled brat, also he had a drinking problem etc as a spoiled brat... and his mother is responsible for causing a lot of that... And Gi Man just like Na Ra seem somewhat mentally disabled and slow....
I think Kangs will need to be generous enough to spend a few pennies to help Gi Man and help Na Ra off to a good start...
