I see that my shows do not show on Viki, that Viki is Japanese owned, that so many shows are not on Kocowa, etc I see that Netflix or Disney shows are ah so cheesy and not real kdrama stuff, usually

Btw I watched Chinese historicals and I still dont like them. There is some .. Female General now that is ah so popular.. I felt like I was watching a commercial. It was so overdone and so on steroids.

I deeply respect Chinese knowledge and I make a living from traditional chinese medicine and I practice tai chi but ... I have never seen a cdrama I liked for real.

chalk it to the need to create episodes and using sexism for it... FL is usually the dumbo who doesnt say things..

I keep rewatching the moment the Detective and Fuzzy meet at the very start of ep 4. He is an AMAZING actor. his eyes!!!!! his body language!!!!! he is ***IMPRESSIVELY amazing actor**** and he is also very beautiful, such smart eyes, he really makes scenes come alive

To be honest at first I felt annoyed with his very thin hair, which makes him look very ... run down... but I realized it just shows how he is an "ordinary person". I wonder what the actor's real hair looks like. I was also annoyed at first with FL thick plastic surgery lips and mascara making her look like ... someone from the west ... and her lousiness which made me think this is old stype sexist kdrama with a loser FL

Only later when I saw her working in the kitchen and changing her mind to act and dupe the police, did I realize that FL was a very strong, smart and capable character and that all her silly behavior was a camouflage, a trap for us audience, to catch us by surprise :)

The scene where he saves her from the lead that keeps hitting her and the talk between two of them is an AMAZING scene of a true partnership

I was IMPRESSED!!!!! I am impressed! Now I will have to rewatch bc I realize that I missed so much

The acting is so good! and the script is WICKEDLY funky, this is one drama I will rewatch and I never rewatch!

The FL is a great actress but acts over the top and is masqueraded in that silly look, bc the script made her do that.
I think the script is a parody on Park Do Ra in Beaty and Mr Romantic when she had an accident and came back looking weird and behaving over the top
So the contrast when she becomes In Se Ra again will be really obvious

So many of us escaped from the western media bc of those moronic series and movies in the west - no plot, no story, no messages, just some sex violence and thug like losers, never any self improvement - and all that is INTENTIONAL, dont have any ilusions, it is all censored to be like that, bc it creates meaningless consumers, kills families and spreads drugs -

now contrast that to why we love kdramas about ordinary people doing something positive and transforming their character and their lives and creating great partnerships and families and communities, eating some good homemade food and being healthy and happy and content -

and now the koreans decided to take the $$$$$$$$$$$ and started making THE SAME MEANINGLESS TRASH like the west. This kdrama is basically a cheesy video game ..... oh paedon me, it is not exactly the same meaningless trash. It is slightly better meaningless trash. So the western audience will watch it bc to them it is 1000000000% improvement in quality. To the rest of us used to real kdramas, we know this stuff is TRASH

so ok, perhaps kdramas and Korean culture and creativity will die from their own greed, and so ... where do we move next?

I am thinking of the cheaply made movie "Smoke Signals" that consists solely of conversations between people and is incredibly fun and educational and deep

We need to identify the next champions of excellent quality entertainment and storytelling
It is NOT China, cdramas are typically crude, rough, heavy, ... fake... even if it is super extra great acting, like in The Bond, it is sooooo heavy, without humor, without lightness, and without this STRIVING TO TRANSFORM.... so I have no hope for anything coming from China . Their own tyranical country prevents them from creating anything that is truly creative and uplifting. They live in hell and it shows in their art. They can only fight to just survive. And all those fake kdramss in nice fancy homes etc are sooo fake it is nauseating

So which place is going to take over.... ?

Korea might be already sacrificed to the evil dieties of $$$$$$$
There are still fun kdramas in the making like My Troublesome Star, Beyond Bar, Winning Try, Haunted Palace, etc etc etc but ... now they got sleeping pills, etc and ....

KOREANS SO FAR WERE THE MOST CREATIVE AND CLEAN FUN EDUCATIONAL AND POSITIVE, their dramas are so sophisticated and so WARM, there is a certain elegance, a certain lightness, a certain sense of humor and moving on in a high spirit and being productive and connected and all those wonderful things,
and if their art dies at the hand of the mighty GREEN $$$$$$ it would be really a pity

Kdramas now show all kinds of characters taking PILLS like sleeping pills, steroids, etc
The West is 100% infected with drugs and "orgies" of various kinds - shopping, video games, tinder, legal pot, etc etc epidemic of cancer, fast food, poisons everywhere, NO FAMILIES, NO COMMUNITIES

the entire society is DYING physically and non-physically it is like old Rome before it fell apart bc of decadence
The West is falling apart, rotting from inside

So someone else will appear to be the new leaders at some point

I think the West is trying to make sure they propagate themselves via that other

In old time, The Rome fell and then European barbarians took over and kept causing messes in the same old way, using the Roman church and other structures, and the Rome stayed the power center with the church, i.e. the game stayed the same, except the players got slightly different

When I am centered, the WHOLE picture comes at once and I can see everything all at once. This is how musicians and dancers and fashion divas work, I think, because only the WHOLE counts...
e.g. When you see someone dressed well, you dont think - ah copper bracelet and blue bag with the mismatched stripey maroon tie - no - you just think OMG THIS LOOKS SO GOOD! So - dreamy, confident, sexy, serious, comfortable, fancy, .... whatever the feeling and thoughts it invoked in you - and only afterwards you start noticing the details.

Then yeah I DO love yapping about the details :) I want to KNOW :)

As for this drama... My review of The Nice Guy drama is too long bc I was venting out immense frustration that a piece that had so much potential was just a dead-end trap. It worries me bc this is the pattern of western media, it is practically all dead-end. Most of the review is a very loud criticism outlining many points that I figured out where the kdrama went wrong and also where it lost its kdramaness
