Also, I think Mi Ran actress is acting so well, Mi Ran has soooo many expressions on her face, so many feelings and complexities

I dont care what MDL says LOL I saw what I saw :) Those two are being pulled together. They respect each other and ... I do feel there is more. His invitation, the talk and that looking over the tea, his staring at her at the end, her smile, are NOT just mentor-mentee conversations.... Those two are already starting to form a couple. It is already DONE. There is no way out.

They wont tag the drama "romance" because romance is not THE focus of this drama, the focus is on legal cases, but their romance will be a part of it.

Common it is life, lawyers fall in love too.... and it does impact their professional life too...

The romance is already brewing, pun intended. That tea scene at the end of ep 2 is a beginning... It wont be THE main thing of the drama but it will be a huge part of it. ML and FL connect professionally and that is how SHE gained his respect, and also they connected personally, and that is how HE gained her respect and also, HE ASKED FOR IT, HE OFFERED THE TEA. He already noticed her as a person :) From this, they are going to proceed to get closer and closer in every way. I think he was prickly and tried to get rid of her at the start because he has issues with women and pushes them away... But.. she gained his respect as a capable lawyer with integrity. At the end, I hope they open their own office, get rich and famous, and live happily ever after :)

And I think she has his respect and trust and some more. He showed up late, past 6pm, and he talked to her in a way that is personal. He kept it curt and official, but it was a PERSONAL talk.

Looking at each other smiling over the tea... is ... a beginning of a life long friendship and collaboration in MANY ways....

The age gap? I didnt notice. And, .... who cares. They look similar in age and are certainly a matching couple.

Also, life is a mix bag of everyting, so some romance, some comedy, some tragicomedy, some politicking, office/family/house bickering, etc is always a part of everything...

It is most boring to have a "genre" and have nothing else but that.
Look at recent kdrama Haunted Palace. It was horror, rom com and comedy, all rolled into one, and it was incredibly fun and successful. An imugi and a shaman busted some monsters and in the process of working together, fell in love.
I think we gonna see that kind of story here. These two will be closer and closer, professionally and otherwise, and will definitely make a lifelong couple.
I think we will see them bickering a lot, also there will be office politics bc of their dating, etc but I also think at the end, they will overcome it and .... make their own "Yullim"

In fact, I wish them to make their own law firm and become independent and super rich and famous. And open many centers and enact laws for disabled children etc They are both smart, high integrity and kind people, and I vote them for President and First Lady one day :)

YES!!!!!! definitely, those two already connected over that tea and are starting to form a couple, It will take a while to materialize in the physical, but energetically, they are connected as a couple already

Yeah audience votes that he gets redeemed bc he is young and beautiful guy but that is ... not ok. He has committed severe crimes. Yes as a child he was manipulated but as an adult, he SHOULD know what he is doing. Taking even Ah Young to that "testing" place at the age of 14 is a sure sign he has turned into a block of stone and has no humanity left in him, so it is hard to redeem him.

I was talking about redemption of a older woman character called Mi Ran from another drama called Queen's House. Audience there wants to fry her alive although her crimes are nothing compared to JH.

I think Se Ri is a cold blooded psychopatic killer, chronic liar and cheater, someone who ENJOYS torturing others. She is scary. Se Ri has all her screws in but she misuses them, she has no heart of consience.
I think Gi Man lacks screws. He has a tiny bit of conscience, he loves and can play with Ji Ho, he genuinely loves his ex-wife, he genuinely loves his mother, he is too naive to think someone could push him down the stairs. He would never plan to kill anyone.

Yeah, I agree, indeed, Gi Man has to be punished. He has committed so many repeated crimes with investment swindles, blackmailing, etc. He is GUILTY. Hwang family wll lose everything and go to jail, all except Na Ra and I hope someone will help her somehow. Her mind is not sharp

Why not? MIL is an evil person. She definitely is capable of committing insurance fraud. Na Ra caused the fire and I wonder if Sook Ja did not call the firefighters on purpose, to get the insurance.
MIL is a very complex character bc she looks like a comical old adjuma, BUT she is a hard core criminal.
