I really want to see a Korean or Chinese adaptation just to see how much the censors would allow when it comes to the intimate/bedroom scenes, lol ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I didn't get Amethyst at all..like what was she trying to pull..
Amy wanted to stop being just friends with Kalix (before ML & FL got together) and then once Kalix was in a relationship Amy wanted to ruin that relationship so that ML & FL break up.
Umm I just started watching it and in just 20 minutes I'm dying from how much cringe the female lead is . Does…
FL is very spunky and exuberant in the college days. I would say she becomes more normal as the show goes on (it’s not comedy-only, there’s dramatic events involved). By the time we get to the present day, FL is more grounded. There are still some fun scenes with her group of girlfriends though.
There were multiple responses to this. ML is from a wealthy family and, apparently, it’s very common for people like that to use English as their primary language. Even the speech of other characters has a lot of English words, phrases or complete sentences. It’s like a video version of a K-pop song 😁
FL actress is shouldering 90% of the load in their relationship. Not sure if it’s writing or acting, but ML is not as interesting comparatively (note: this is through first 4 episodes; Viki doesn’t have the full series yet).
I am trying to catch up so I can be immune to spoilers. Put Eat Run Love on pause and finished 12 episodes of this show (inn section is kind of long…).
That’s kind of how I view it — she got ability due to his blood. That means he’s not a simple human. She also said the boy fell off the cliff with her, so my theory is that boy ML also got transported back to this world and then the demon hunter family found and adopted him (again, similar to Love Game). ML’s dying dad also made it a point to emphasize there are both good & bad demons, that ML himself determines his fate (or something along those lines). But perhaps there’s more to the lore of this universe :)
His dying dad told him the tattoo/bracelet) is to protect him (I forget the official name of it). But if ML is a demon (as it’s being implied) then lithe tattoo/bracelet also keeps his demon nature hidden/in check. Similar to the purpose of the hair ribbon on ML in Love Game in Eastern Fantasy.
I’m only on Ep. 9. Kind of surprised how much of the backstory they’ve revealed/hinted at so far. Childhood connection, ML’s true nature, how FL got her ability, and — very subtly — even hidden purpose behind ML’s wrist tattoo (not what his “dad” told him).
Are we really supposed to believe that a near-genius level person could not think of a better revenge plan than…
Interesting point of him wanting to be caught on purpose. I never thought about it 🤔 Not sure I follow the character’s logic for wanting to do that but he was clearly not in a good frame of mind. I don’t dislike dramas that make you think but here writers buried the reasoning way too deep 😁

I see your point. Personally, I find it hard to reconcile the fact that ML did multiple rational preparatory steps (break up with FL, signing L&P over to SML) with an irrational step of beating up the guy. Perhaps it was better explained in the novel where we could hear his inner thoughts 🤷♂️ Or maybe the writers did too good of a job over 20+ episodes building up the suspense about breakup & jail so I felt confused by the reasoning, lol. I still like the show, especially the episodes in the present :)

I agree with most of what you said, but what I don’t understand is exactly what he tried to accomplish by just beating up the guy. He didn’t try to kill him or do something very serious. I would totally understand it more if he tried to kill the guy to get revenge. But simply beating up a person seems strange… 🤔
