It’s based on a novel from one of the most prominent writers
Yes, if you aren’t a super fan of the leads, it may be safer to wait until the end. I don’t really like dramas with sad/tragic endings but only watching this because of Wang Chu Ran… and, honestly, have to watch this as it airs because if it was a super sad ending, I’d have a hard time bringing myself to watch it 😳🥺🫣

Apparently the novel has a very tragic ending. Everyone’s hoping this will be changed though. It had happened with another drama from this writer. But it’s certainly expected that our heroes will suffer quite a lot throughout 🫣
This! Inability of so many dramas to have a solid middle part or the ending is so sad. Feels like they hire a…
To be fair, there is a significant chunk of C-dramas that have a similar issue — they may have a good beginning but fall off in the middle and then, if we are lucky, recover by the end. But sometimes things just completely go off the rails even in the middle (like in Fated Hearts) or at the very end when creators decide to do something unusual/novel/“deep” instead of just having a nice happy ending (perfect example — A Beautiful Lie).
I lowkey hope the side characters get together. Love me a dominant woman x a submissive man😌
Secondary leads will probably be the leads in the movie the main couple will direct. I like second pair too. The actress isn’t really all that bad or domineering — feels like she’s just exhausted and is tired of her mom managing her life & career.
We have two CP's (two actors and two directors) and a romance manuscript...speaks for itself what's going to happen…
Yes, if it’s anything different, I’d be very surprised. The big question is how they (directors & 2FL) sell casting of 2ML to 2FL’s mom and others. 2FL is a famous actress so casting an unknown actor to play her partner is questionable 🤨
Not looking forward to all the haters who will claim ratings/heat index is rigged (just liked they did when PoJ) 🫣🤣
