Actually, the actor should be embarrassed for not having the skills for the job. He should apologise for doing a bad job.

If the actor could not speak appropriately for the role, he should not have accepted the job. The actor is a performer - and his performance is out there to be judged and critiqued.
So all he can do is have the decency to at least laugh at himself instead of being arrogant and feeling insulted.

I really dont know /understand why he is not more successful.
He has the looks, talent, and seems popular amongst viewers of this show.

I would laugh if someone said that about my attempt at speaking a foreign language because its true.
And if it was mandarin -a tonal language i would also have to apologise in case i said anything unintentionally that offended.

At least I heard the book has good story so its probably editing /director that is not doing such a great job if people are complaining. Some shows take a while to reveal story.

I noticed that you dont rate until you have finished which is the correct way to do it. MDL should probably ban ratings for bls shows to punish us for voting for favourite couples.
It was funny when "The next prince" had over 50 written reviews all scoring it 10 after the first episode. That could only end one way.

The two things that indicate that is not telling the truth - at least for me:
1. There are witnesses that corroborate the alleged bullying.
2. She actually transferred schools. (I read she initially denied this fact - which makes her look guilty)

Its my interpretation of the facts. She may be innocent, and transferring schools may be coincidence. What Im not going to do is question and dismiss the victims allegations - just because she is a celebrity and has fans.

Most bl series would not be rated above a 6 if it were not for fans liking the couple.
If you took out the bl couples and made it straight, you would see how ridiculously bad most bls really are. We would not be indulging these straight actors and very few series would pass as being quality viewing.

Relatively speaking, Revamp is not a bad story. Editing and story telling could have been done better than GMM formula. Also people have diff tastes so some may actually like GMM formula. Oh - and its also Boun/Prem.

I have read that there is no official uncensored version of the series and they also did not release the last few episodes.

Hate the Chinese censorship - they dont realise the soft power the popularity of these shows would bring them as well.

I have resorted to reading the novel - it is so good.

I dont see it as revenge but transparency.
Why is the actress hiding who she is and what she did considered revenge?

I was under the assumption that the book was about gay characters anyway. So for them to demand it should have been made straight sounds absurd.

Its like I tell people who complain dont like the characters / story / toxicity of any series - and demand changes to script. - go wright your own book and make your own show. What they are demanding is another form of censorship.

I think she is guilty. We dont know the truth. But my analysis is diff to yours.

4. No victim would forget her tormentor. Dont patronise the victim
5. It is the victims decision to come forward with the accusations when ever they are ready to face their alleged bully.
6. Maybe seeing the alleged bullys fame - wounded the victim and kept reminding them of their torment.
7. Imagine if you were tormented by an incident and suddenly your tormentor ran for a political position or became famous. I would want to expose them and their hypocrisy. To me the truth is justice - not revenge.

I dont think she should be cancelled over something that happened when she was not an adult. But she should apologise to victim and take responsibility for her actions.

If there was bullying and the person took responsibility then it would firstly help the victim heal, and secondly show that their was regret for actions.
Then everyone could move on.

If the actress left the school during that period its still suspect - but not as damaging to her if there was a record of violence and forced transfer. They would need to rely on witnesses in that case. And if she was a bully, there would probably be other victims.

The school still may have records even if they were not required to keep them.

I agree with you.

I would easily forgive if they took responsibility for actions and apologised. That would have helped the victim heal, and also shown that the bully has "grown" and has remorse.

Unfortunately positions of power (CEO, politicians) are usually occupied by people with varying levels of ASPD and hide behind a false image they have created.
