What was the original plot?

So many questions because its so illogical.
1. How come Milds rape was a revelation to Mild at the party, when his brother friends told him why his brother hates Knight.
2. Was Mild not aware he was raped/ sexually assaulted - but everyone else knew.
3. Why did everyone else knows it was Knight -but not Mild. Why is everyone else aware of Milds rape but not Mild
4. Why didnt his brother tell him about Knight (and rape) when he saw Mild getting involved with Knight
5. Why weren't the police involved when incident happened

Its not making any sense.

Im not sure what I am missing. The plot does not make any sense.

Mild had no clue why his brother and Knight are fighting.

1. So Mild was raped/ sexually assaulted in the past. How come this was a revelation to him at the party when his brother friends told him why his brother hates Knight.

Also if there was a rape at the party - why weren't the police involved?

And if his brother knew that Knight assaulted Mild (but Mild didnt???) then why didnt he tell Mild instead of letting him get involved with Knight.

So whats your point ?
If you like slapstick go watch a show like " lovely runner" and discuss it there. Its more appropriate.

I get your disappointment. I wanted something darker as well. Irrespective, I enjoyed this and the comedy even if it wasn't something i initially asked for.

Some people have said that in an interview Boun ( the writer) mentioned it does get more dark .

Iol I still like Dunk even if you think he cant act. He was adorable as Style.

The three you mentioned are amongst my favourites - and most certainly Gunn can act.

Seriously most of the thai bl actors are good enough for the shows. You are the ones finding fault with the acting and demanding Shakespeare quality.

Im just used to british actors and that level of acting. It doesnt compare to thai bl actors. British actors tend to have gone to theatre school, they are professionals, and have trained for years to perfect their craft. Thai actors are amateurs in comparison (generally speaking)

EDIT - if the thai actors had gone to drama school they would have been equally as good. Its jus that most thai bl actors have studied engineering, medicine, communications etc. They are not actors.
ALSO you are the ones bringing up thai bl actors inability to act. Im fine with their acting as most of it is good enough.

Do watch really bl dramas for the Shakespearean level acting - then poor you. Your taste must not be that refined. Frankly Im happy with the level of acting in Thai bls as most of it is competent enough.

But if you think thai bl actors are at the same level as say a british trained actor that has gone to theatre school and perfected their craft over years then you are deluded. Most thai bl actors have studied engineering, medicine, etc. They cant compete.

I watch bls for fun and entertainment, for actors I like, and the stories. I dont watch for brilliant acting, scripts, cinematography .

But hey if you can only argue about acting then you have failed to make your point.

Shitty scripts can translate into successful shows which please the majority - irrespective of your opinion or mine. In bl world, face card trumps acting skills and with Dunks face card i dont care if he can act.

GMM is successful - I never argued that it delivers quality. My arguments stand solid.

To be honest they are both so good looking that they dont need to act.

In all seriousness I think they are both competent - I have found others who are praising Perms acting for this role. So its just opinions. But my point - with face cards like that Im not looking at the acting.

Its probably the most successful thai bl companies with a list of actors and successful series to its name. They must be doing something right.

Some series do well and others dont. You cant make such a statement indicating the success or failure is due to comedy by PICKING and naming a few SELECTIVE shows. The Heart Killers (THK) was comedy and it was successful.

Can you define what you mean by slapstick humour because so far it has contained comedic elements - like THK this has comedy. Or are you using the word dishonestly to disparage the show after viewing one episode.

I dont think the age thing is such an issue - Goblin was about 30 years old when he died. So what if he is a couple of centuries old.

The issue was that her acting childish - it greatly contrasted her youth and immaturity by comparing it to his maturity and age. And that made a relationship more obvious and unpalatable. ( Also the actor looks a lot older than 30. if I remember correctly - he has a very mature look).

A lot of people focused more on the grim reapers relationship with both goblin and sunny because i dont think they bought the relationship with Ji Eun Tak & goblin.

Yes, her reasoning and intellect was mature, and they should have used that in her behaviour as well. It would have demanded more acting chops from the actress - her performance would have to be more nuanced, Instead they wanted to draw it in coloured crayon for the audience. You dont need childishness to show "ray of sunshine".

I think the directors made the wrong call in this decision to make her immature. She did "immature" to well and it put a lot of people off by focusing on her childishness and age, instead of her character.

I dont find the age gap an issue as much as i did have an issue with her "acting " the part immaturely. I dont know why the director chose that for the character.

I get that she was young, but dont make her childlike in her behaviour and mannerisms. I found that distasteful and annoying.
I would have expected her character to be played with more maturity for her age - due to her life experiences. It would have made more sense.

I do love Chinese bls ( and shows ) and the writers are particularly good and twisted (which i like) in a diff way. I wish they had more freedom because they are so talented.
