I mean disney turned genie into a funny blue guy decades back. People didn't have any issues back in the day
my point is, it's supposed to be fiction and don't think their intention was of insulting any God or belief. But to each their own but review bombing without much application of cricitcal thinking is also quite a show of herd mentality

have you heard of this American show called Lucifer?? He is quite charming in it although according to Christian beliefs lucifer is the devil but don't see too many people offended with that show. It was well received worldwide and has multiple seasons
Whatever one says Sang yeon was selfish till the end. Even at the end she did all that just because she was dying. More annoyed with the female lead for putting up with all of it throughout her life. I guess they deserve each other
Love story between a satan and a psychopath. Don't know much about the controversy but I quite enjoyed it taking it as a fantasy rom-com in its face value. Loved the banter between the leads. I think the score doesn't quite justify it. Give it a watch to judge for yourself if you don't get easily offended or swayed by all the outside noise
why so low rating? is it that bad or just a bad ending? haven’t started it yet
don't know why the rating is bad. I finished episode 10 and I have enjoyed it quite a bit. Better than many rom-coms that are rated much higher. I guess if you take it as a fantasy rom-com you will have a good time. If you want something critical or serious then it's not for you.
Reminded me of being back in my philosophy class in college where the same question was asked "If a Tree Falls in the Forest, and There’s No One Around to Hear It, Does It Make a Sound?"
Decent watch. Go Min Si was really good in this drama
loved moon lovers as well. It deserved that ending for the tone in which it was made while this was more of a light hearted rom-com so deserved a happy ending. Both were good although the romance is more intense in moon lovers
Heard lot of good things about it but was sadly quite disappointed. In contrast revenant is a far better horror kdrama compared to this although this is rated higher. Didn't find it creepy nor the central mystery held my attention for too long plus some of the characters were quite frustrating; somehow managed to complete the drama just to watch how it ends
had low expectations but genuinely surprised by how much I liked it. Also there were some genuine creepy moments. Loved it and also the ending since it isn't one of those open ended ending
korean dark knight masquerading as judge. Has the look and feel of a broody batman series also many parallels to the dark knight. Even dystopian korea looks like a parallel gotham city
loved it. Also loved the short 4 mins documentary film on the hwaseon murders at the end of episode 15. That was nicely done and gave the whole show a very humane touch
Definitely deserves a rating much higher than 8 probably at least around 8.5 or 9. This was so good, a mostly stress free and satisfying drama with happy endings for everyone rather than reeling into something more dramatic like in many slice of life romance dramas
Decent watch. Go Min Si was really good in this drama
